- Reviewed in the United States on September 25, 2017This journal is not only unlocking my creative side but it's also been surprisingly therapeutic. I cannot recommend it enough. I am a writer and have been keeping a journal for as long as I can remember and so I'm no stranger to this stuff but the questions that this journal asks has helped me tap into an even deeper understanding of where I come from and why I am the way I am. I am having a blast with this and will definetely be buying copies for my friends and family!
- Reviewed in the United States on September 24, 2017This guided journal is just too much fun. I love the entire Mortified franchise and I'm a lifelong diary-keeper, so I was super happy to receive this journal as a gift. There are prompts throughout where you reflect on a topic from your youth and compare it to now. For example: "Describe your first kiss. Who was it with? Where was it? What was the build up like? How did it feel?" Then you describe your most RECENT kiss, with the same follow up questions. There are tons of these in the journal where you compare your adolescence with your adult life regarding love life, family, friends, social life, pop culture favorites, school, and so much more. It's awesome to see how much you've changed (or haven't changed). I've laughed a lot writing in it, and even got a little teary reflecting on some memories and experiences. You must get this guided journal. <3
- Reviewed in the United States on November 28, 2017I bought this thinking it would be a cute insight into my childhood and adult life. Wrong! It was kinda painful digging up my childhood and decided i wasn't ready to visit that. What I should get is a therapist :( otherwise a great journal and fun unless it's painful to relive your past.
- Reviewed in the United States on October 10, 2017looking back on our former selves can be a painful experience, but this guided journal makes the experience breezy, accessible, and full of insights. great gift for anyone at a crossroads in life as well as a potentially fun activity to do with grandparents/grandkids/older relatives.
- Reviewed in the United States on March 20, 2018I bought this book and the other Mortified books after watching the show on Netflix. The first book I got was wonderful! Hilarious! A collection of stories. Then there’s this one...I would rather not journal my life and that’s what this asks you to do then compare your journaling.
