Cas and Ana are very likeable. Their daughter Sophia is cute .
All characters are well sketched.

The small little 'suspense' is of course not really there - as it is evident very early on. But it does not take away from enjoying the book.

Its a fairy tale.

Prince Casimir of Byzenmaach is being encouraged to marry but he can’t decide who he wants to be his wife. Seven years ago he had a whirlwind romantic week with Anastasia Douglas and he’s never forgotten her. He’d been able to be himself for that week, never telling her his real identity but then fate intervened and he had to abandon her to take up his responsibilities. Now he sets one of his Aides on discovering what she’s doing now and where she is. That’s when he finds out that she had his daughter . . . . He’s determined to get them both into his life.

I loved the dialogue and interactions in this story! The chemistry between the couple is explosive but, having been abandoned by him once, Ana is reticent to give him another chance - especially if that affects their daughter. However, for once the two actually act like adults and talk to each other - wow! There are some twists and turns to make this stand out from the crowd and it was a lovely story to escape into, especially if you’re in the mood for a light hearted, fun romance to read. I'll certainly look out for other books by this author and in this series!
