If you are thinking about growth mindset in the classroom, this is a great book. It offers some info on Mindset and some straightforward activities and lesson plans to introduce Mindset to yourself and to the students. I feel like the book does rely on the reader having prior knowledge of Dweck’s
original book for greatest depth; but, to the novice they do provide a good overview of the theories of Mindset and resources for suggested follow up.

I love this series of books and use them frequently in my professional work in coaching teachers to help them (and their students) develop growth mindset. This book (along with the others by the same authors) is approachable, simple to understand, and highly applicable to everyday work with students. I appreciate the relatable examples and overall organization of the book.

This book presents a master class on a positive, effective, and well-thought-out teaching philosophy. It is not only inspirational but practical and delivers real and tangible techniques to forward the Growth-Mindset movement. I am a teacher of radiography and I use these empowering techniques with my adult students. A HUGE thank you to the authors for providing such a clear and relatable learning and teaching philosophy.

I just got this and am loving the information. I wanted to write a review though because I cannot see any of the charts they give for examples on my kindle. They are all very small and very light in color. I would not purchase this again in the kindle edition.

As a parent, there is so much to appreciate about the role of an educator. A growth mindset is crucial for a teacher as well as the child. Always be open to try new things. Work it until you find what works.
