About the author

I am a speaker and internationally published author, and women's advocate. I have served as the Director of a Crisis Pregnancy Center and have personally ministered to hundreds of women to help them overcome the emotional trauma of a past abortion since 1996. I have had the opportunity to be featured on local and national media, including appearances on Babbie's House with Babbie Mason, Homekeepers with Arthelene Rippy, Nite Line with Dante Thompson and international media on Time for Hope with Dr. Freda Crews.
I have shared my personal testimony in my book, Behind the Mask. I desire to help refresh people spiritually, and I desire to impart hope and healing to people who are frustrated with life.
I grew up in the suburbs of Birmingham, AL and still live in the area today. My hope is that my books make your heart smile.

- Reviewed in the United States on May 12, 2018This book should be used as a basis for every teenaged Sunday School class at least once every year.
- Reviewed in the United States on July 12, 2018Is this an inspirational book, a Bible study, a devotional, or a self-help book? The answer is yes. I appreciate the author's use of experiences from her own life to provide teaching moments with Biblical principles to provide true guidance. Her use of "fill in the blank" questions takes us beyond a light reading into something that requires action on our part, which drives the lesson deeper than a mere glossing over of the printed page. Her honesty in telling of her mistakes and bad choices shows more than a holier than thou attitude so many "self-help" gurus exhibit. There is no one who honestly wants to improve their life who cannot benefit from this book.
- Reviewed in the United States on June 22, 2018It Matters to read this book. Author Amy Lynne's book is a hybrid of storytelling, teaching, workbook, bible study and more. I recently started the journey to bring God into my life to help me move forward through his teachings. I love how each chapter has a story, then bible teachings and prayer as well as exercises to help me take action in my life. In two chapters alone I made breakthroughs in my thinking about my life. This book is for anyone. I am a CEO and always busy but this book is one you work through one bite at a time and it's awesome.
- Reviewed in the United States on May 3, 2018Having read Amy's first book, behind the mask, I was looking forward to hearing more about what matters. the answer? IT Matters! This book format allows a reader to read a chapter at a time or the entire book at one setting. It identifies life's daily challenges and blessings and recounts ho each life event makes a difference in our lives. There is sufficient scripture to back up Amy's claims of WHO makes IT matter! Great read.
- Reviewed in the United States on April 26, 2018I enjoyed reading this book and thinking of the soft, easy lessons in the stories. The stories were of Amy's personal life and how God touched her life and she would love for us to get that feeling too. Her book is easy to read and understand and hopefully will bring God into your life too.
- Reviewed in the United States on May 22, 2018If you are looking for a easy read summer book this is it! Oh how I can relate to every story Amy tells about her life. As I read one chapter I would laugh and say “yep that was me”. I believe this would be a fun book for a ladies group.
- Reviewed in the United States on June 15, 2018We all second guess our choices after make a string of bad ones. It Matters helps us to begin to trust God in our decisions and walks us through the emotions of faith, family and friendship. Amy lifts the veils on heart that opens to a new level of faith we haven't reached yet.
- Reviewed in the United States on November 28, 2018I just finished this book and I really enjoyed it. It was very humorous and I loved the way the Author tied the short stories into scripture. I love a book that is a fun read and this was! Highly recommended!
