Melissa Rivers is the cocreator of the Red Carpet franchise and the host and executive producer of the E! Entertainment series Fashion Police. She is also the New York Times bestselling author of The Book of Joan and Red Carpet Ready.

Scott Currie began his career as a television producer on The Joan Rivers Show and now owns his own communications firm in New York City.

    I am so thrilled to have this book. Joan was brilliant, witty and oh so funny! She was also brave and controversial. Having followed her closely throughout her career, I appreciate all of the notes she wrote, the files & letters she kept, the material that is sketched out in her handwriting as she was working on it. This gives a terrific insight into her life and the development of her career. The jokes that are posted throughout the book still make me laugh out loud. The pictures from all of the different stages of her life are wonderful. This book is a total treasure and keeps the memory of Joan alive so well. She had guts and pushed on when many may have quit the business. She was driven and I truly admire that. What a talent, a true dynamo. Thank you Melissa, for all of this memorabilia. It is precious to me.
