This is a book that you can bring when you explore the world of Buddhism to obtain happiness!
Fundamentally, the purpose of Buddhism is to eliminate suffering and to obtain happiness.

Bhikkhu Kakmuk, a prominent scholar as well as a translator of Pali scriptures, reveals the six stages for realizing Nibbāna, the happiness of all happinesses. These are ① seeing deconstructively, ② a firm view of the impermanence·suffering·non-self, ③ revulsion, ④ dispassion, ⑤ deliverance, and ⑥ knowledge of liberation.

As a lay student of Bhikkhu Kakmuk, this book is like a best friend who will guide me through the land of Buddha's teachings!

In Korea Bhikkhu Kakmuk is a famous pioneer to translate Tipitakka of early Buddhism by Korean.
His works have been very helpful for whom to learn and understand the core meaning of early Buddhism.
This book is a definitive edition to introduce early Buddhism in his works.
Also I admire Nancy Acord for her inspired translation. Thank you and congratulation !!
