    Enjoyed reading this book, especially the Christian perspective. Good clean reading with wonderful life lessons. I thank you for allowing me the opportunity to enjoy this book. I am 72 y/o and am retired living on a limited income. I am an avid reader of westerns. Unfortunately due to limited finances I shop for cheap books that I buy from Amazon kindle for 99 cents each. I can purchase five of these books for the price of one of yours. Please, I am not complaining or poor-mouthing. I just want you to know the book was a real blessing to my soul. God bless you.

    This was a good start to what I'm sure will be a promising series. In this first book, the heroine's father is shot in his study along with a man that nobody knows. Her father is dead, but the man is alive and in a coma. Somebody is trying to keep her from talking, and Sexy Texas Ranger, who was also her father's "son he never had" is trying to keep her safe.

    The supense was good. I was a little disappointed at how easily it was cleared up. But the book did leave some running questions - questions we'll learn the answers to in book 6.

    As a born again Christian, this book had a deeper meaning for me. "For I know the plans I have for you", what a great part of scripture for people like me that have questioned my faith when I lost my son when I was pregnant with him. I don't understand why, but someday I will know the reason why God called him home. Like Corrina, I rediscovered my faith when tragedy struck and found that having faith and a Heavenly Father that loves and cares for you is an amazing blessing! If you decide to read this book you won't be disappointed. I hope that it has blessed you like it has me.

    This is a well-written suspenseful story with fully developed characters. The only issue I had with the story is Corinna's attitude towards Ben which stemmed from childhood resentment. The story became better once I understood the basis for her attitude.

    I loved this book - but to get full benefit you need to read the whole Texas Ranger Justice series. This was the 5th in the series, I believe, and the 6th and final one will come out in June of this year. Great Series - great authors! I will be sad to see it end.
