Overall, this is a really cute book and fun to flip through. Unfortunately, the first project I attempted made no sense at all. It was as if directions for a completely different project were inserted into the middle of the one I was trying to make. Luckily, the Spoonflower blog had a short video to follow that made perfect sense, so I didn't waste any fabric! (After I made the first item, I went back to the book to see if the instructions now magically made more sense, but they did not.)

The projects are clearly described and look easy enough to complete. The writing style is positive and I can almost hear the encouragement from the author. If you are interested in helping a beginning “sewist”, with some easy projects, this is a great book for you. Happy creating.

A waste of money. I purchased this book because the sample showed a promise of 34 interesting and useful sewing projects. Instead it is a packet of personal hype, useless childish projects (like a door-hung puppet theatre that is essentially what we did as seven-year-olds), and imperfect, incomplete instructions for a VERY few useful items. The photos are pretty - I will allow them that.

Nice pictures and best projets are the first ones in the book. The others are similar to other books.
