Marion Myles hasn't always been a writer. She spent the first few decades of her life as a professional equestrian and travelled across North America training and competing at horse shows.

I was thoroughly enjoying this book until I came upon page after page of unnecessary explicit sex scenes. We do not need pages of step by step descriptions of sex acts, they lower the tone and are quite frankly boring. I was all set to order more books by this author and rate the book as a 5 star, but I won't bother now. A good author does not need to fill pages this way, a good author maintains the mystery and a good book keeps us on the edge of our seat. A total turn of for me.
