All the Light There Is (The Healing Edge) Kindle Edition

4.7 4.7 out of 5 stars 49 ratings

The finale to the Healing Edge series that began with All The Broken Places, recipient of the 2016 Paranormal Romance Guild Reviewer’s Choice Award.

Psychotherapist Cate Duncan is done with danger. Her training at the MacGregor Group’s parapsychology clinic has brought one crisis after another. So when Skeet, her research colleague, offers Cate and her boss-turned-boyfriend Ben a working vacation at his secluded hunting lodge, they jump at the chance.

But the idyllic Mercier Lodge is teeming with secrets: Skeet’s unorthodox research methods, a tragic death that occurred at the lodge over a year ago, and its connection to Cate’s past.

As they delve into Mercier’s unsavory history, Ben and Cate stick close together, trusting in their love for each other to keep them safe. But when a scheme separates them, Cate must rely on the MacGregor Group’s paranormal abilities, some surprise allies, and her own determination to track Ben down and crack Mercier’s mysteries before the strange place claims any more victims.

Review

"A gripping thriller that closed out this series perfectly. Anise Eden really has a way with words, and making you feeling like you right there, nose deep in the action. This was truly a gem, and a series that needs to be read. Take my high recommendation that you will get trapped in this mind twisting world, that will have you second guessing at every turn." - E. A. Walsh on Goodreads
"I like the twists and turns and I was
on the edge of my seat trying to figure out what was going to happen next. Man I loved these characters and how the story flowed. I look forward to reading more from this author. I definitely recommend this book as well as the whole series." - Dawn D. on Goodreads
"'All the Light There Is' ... kept me glued to my Kindle with intriguing plot twists and amazing chemistry between the characters.
The bond between Cate and Ben kept me turning pages. Strong characterization is something I look for in a book and Eden is an expert at her craft". -Jennifer L. on Goodreads
"Cate and Ben's love for each other was not physical, because of rules of celibacy during her training, which really put the focus on their emotions. Even if you've never gone to a psychic for a reading, had Raiki, or your aura cleansed,
you will enjoy all of these characters for their lively interaction with each other and their diversity. Cate and Ben's love story is at the center of these books but the main attraction is the exploration of the psychic arts. Anise Eden's talent lies in the intermingling of the two." - Deborah Kehoe on Goodreads

All the Light There Is: The Healing Edge - Book Three
By: Anise Eden
5 out of 5 stars

The story All the Light There Is: The Healing Edge - Book Three by Anise Eden is a romantic suspense book. It is the final book in the Healing Edge series and I absolutely loved reading it. Like the other books in the series it draws you in from the very beginning and you find yourself not wanting to put it down until you have read the final page. I love the characters of Cate and Ben. From the very first book, these two have had feelings for each other and this book shows those feelings are only growing stronger. All through this story, you read about the love they both feel and show for each other. Ben is very protective of Cate and would do anything to keep her safe. They are an amazing couple. This story finds Ben and Cate going to the Mercier Lodge after they are invited there by a research colleague of Cate’s. Soon after an investigation starts that has the entire MacGregor group involved. This investigation leads to secrets, revelations, and danger that threatens the team as well as others. Not all is as it seems to be at this lodge. Will the team be able to expose what is being planned and also those who are in charge? This is a book that had me on the edge of my seat wondering what was going to happen next and how the evil plans being put in motion would be stopped. I love all the characters that make up the MacGregor Group and enjoy reading about how each one plays a part in this story. I also enjoyed reading about the others who help this group stop the evil plans that are being put into action. I love the attention to detail that the author gives regarding the paranormal abilities that are being used and the history behind them. This is a series that I believe must be read in order to fully understand and to fully connect with the characters that crossover from each book. This is an author who is an awesome storyteller and has created amazing characters. I can’t wait to read what she writes next!

All the Light There Is- is the third and final addition to The Healing Edge series by Anise Eden. What a fantastic way to finish the series, although I am sorry to see it end. I would like to continue reading about Cate, Ben and the rest of the MacGregor Group. I am sure there are many more adventures that they could become involved in, many more paranormal mysteries that require their unique skillsets to help solve (not so subtle hints, Ms. Eden). This story is my favourite out of all three books.
This is definitely not a standalone, you really should read the other two books before starting this one. The story begins where the previous one left off.
Cate and Ben are taking a working vacation, as the recent events have left them over all drama and danger. But, things are never so simple where Cate is concerned, and she soon finds herself once again in the thick of things. A secluded hunting lodge and its questionable history becomes the setting for yet another intriguing instalment to this engrossing series. This paranormal mystery will yet again test everything Cate has learned. What is her connection to the lodge? What other secrets will be uncovered? With a plot to separate Cate and Ben, what will become of them? Will they prevail yet again, or will the lodge claim some more victims?
The story has a great pace, is easy to read and will have you completely engrossed till the final word.
I love the beautiful covers on all the books in the series, particularly this one.
The story is very well written- Ms. Eden’s scene setting and character development is superb. The characters are truly unique, credible and entirely convincing. The situations they find themselves in are mindboggling, but the author makes them seem entirely plausible. This is a testament to her writing skills.
I am sad to see this series finish, but I am looking forward to seeing what the author does next.

Thank you, Ms. Eden!

All the Light There Is (The Healing Edge, #3) by Anise Eden was gripping thriller that closed out this series perfectly.

Picking up were the last left off, we don't miss a beat getting tossed back into this paranormal-ish world. I say ish, because, this last book had more of a romantic-thriller vibe then, paranormal romance. Toss in some cabin in the woods, and you got yourself a fun read. Though I will say that this book was a little slow to start. More so, it felt like it took longer then normal to get to the main plot, like trimming bush to get to the path. But once it got going, it was heart pounding. I'm not going to tell you why either, thriller are meant to get the blood pumping, so you're just going to have to read it, to find out.

As with the first two book, the flow was even, the plot was on point, and the writing was masterful. Anise Eden really has a way with words, and making you feeling like you right there, nose deep in the action. As I said, this is the perfect conclusion to a spine tilling series. As sad as I am to see it go, I felt the it ended in a way where if the authors wants, she can expand, but at the same time I feel satisfied.

This was truly a gem, and a series that needs to be read. Take my high recommendation that you will get trapped in this mind twisting world, that will have you second guessing at every turn.

Happy Reading.

-E.A. Walsh

5.0 out of 5 stars not only because this one won't make sense but because it really is a great series that has gotten better with each book

This is the third and, sadly, final book in this series. You really do have to read the first row in this series, not only because this one won't make sense but because it really is a great series that has gotten better with each book.

I thoroughly enjoyed this book even more than the first two. The story has a unique atmosphere to it and the characters are so interesting and likeable. Even though the subject matter is supernatural and other worldly, it is so easy to read and the descriptive and narrative flow is great.

This author has a great talent for creating epic stories and developing characters and I cannot wait to read more from this author and will hold a glimmer of hope that this particular one will be revisited at some point in the future.
