- Reviewed in the United States on May 11, 2019i love Amanda Stevens books. the characters are believable, the stories are mulitlayered and really interesting. Criminal Behavior kep me guessing right until the end!
- Reviewed in the United States on January 9, 2020This was a great book. Gave me the creeps a few times. The only reason I gave it a 4 instead of a five is because I would have liked to hear more about Sandra, Helen, & David and the what was going on back then. I also would have liked for Addie to have had a discussion with David to hear his side of things. The truth.
I don’t think I’ve read this author before. Going now to see her other books. I really enjoyed it.
- Reviewed in the United States on May 30, 2019Really enjoyed it and have ordered the next one in the series.....suspenceful reading
- Reviewed in the United States on May 8, 2019Very rich in detail and an excellent thriller-mystery that had me engrossed; however, it still felt like it lacked just a little something that would have made it sing.
- Reviewed in the United States on May 1, 2019Ethan is trying to exonerate his father of murder. His obsession ruined his relationship with Adaline 10 years ago now he’s back. Together they are trying to uncover the truth but powerful people don’t want the truth to come out. Ms. Stevens has a way with words that make you feel the chill down your back and smell the magnolia flowers. That’s how well written her books are. This one is no exception. Creepy, suspenseful, and twisted. Great start to a new trilogy.
I received a copy of this book from the author for a honest review.
- Reviewed in the United States on December 22, 2021This book doesn't stop for anyone. Doesn't have a bunch of details. Lots of action but not too much. I do wish it had more about Helen and David and Sandra in it but it certainly does well with that in the end. You'll be wanting the next book as soon as possible after reading this!!
- Reviewed in the United States on June 18, 2019I really enjoyed this book. I love a book where you can make a connection with the main character. Addie is the daughter of a victim of a serial killer copycat. She is convinced the right person was arrested for it 25 years ago, but the son of the killer thinks differently. It seems that Addie and Ethan, the son of the killer, have a past and not a good one. Ethan has come back to Addie after 10 years with new evidence that may show that his father is innocent. What follows is a lot of action and mystery. I did not see the ending coming. I will always give a 5 star rating if the author can trick me and Amanda Stevens did just that. As soon as I put the book down, I ordered the next one in the trilogy!
**Full disclosure- I received a free book for an honest review.
- Reviewed in the United States on May 4, 2019I got lucky, because I rarely win anything, and was sent this book by the author to review. I have read all of her Graveyard Queen series books and looked forward to seeing what this booked had to offer.
It did not disappoint. From start to end you are constantly wondering whodunnit. It is a good quick read that is hard to put down. Like another reviewer had said the authors attention to details makes you really focus, because if you don’t you may be rereading pages to see what you missed.
The only issue I had with the book is now I will have to buy the other two books in the series, lol.
