About the author

Best-selling author, Michelle Lynn Brown is a housewife, mother of three, writer, blogger, hopeless romantic, and a cuddly lap for one very large cat. She was born in Dayton, Ohio, but raised in El Paso, Texas. The Lord has blessed her with the opportunity to live in many locations, from Germany to Oklahoma, where she now resides.
When she was a teenager, her mother used to take her to used books stores at least once a month. It was there she fell in love with the written word. As a writer, she uses this passion to share with others the joy of having a personal and intimate relationship with Christ.
Like the flawed characters that grace her books, she has had many stumbles and struggles in her life. God's grace and mercy through these trials have kept her on her knees. It is from this humble position that she seeks to minister through her writing - not as someone who has it all figured out, but just someone who has figured out how wonderful and awesome God is.

- Reviewed in the United States on October 23, 2019I loved the story. I loved the theme of unconditional love and how the author compares the love that God has for us to Tristans story. It was fun to read about the town of Mistletoe and the traditions. You will enjoy this book if you love Christmas and the true meaning of love
- Reviewed in the United States on December 19, 2020The story grabs your from the beginning. The characters are likeable and believable. This is a short Christmas story that mostly takes place in a little town called Mistletoe, where Caitlin has to come to terms with her past.
- Reviewed in the United States on December 6, 2019This is a cute little story in this little town of Mistletoe. There was a little too much religion for me, but the overall message of the story is good. This is a clean romance.
- Reviewed in the United States on July 9, 2019The name of the town sounds cute, but for Caitlin nothing but bad memories. A woman who made a home for her, wants her to come. Agreeing, with a slip of saying with a fiancé, and he was gone before the trip. Coming into town, several mishaps and with her and a writer, people put them together. Cute story.
- Reviewed in the United States on December 17, 2020This was such a beautiful story of letting God write your story. Caitlin had know nothing but pain from her hometown. Tristan was suffering from writers block and was sent to Mistletoe to write his next best seller. When they meet, someone makes an assumption that causes them to spend time together. Then before they know it, their relationship becomes real. Unfortunately, they still have to deal with their issues. The biggest one being that they need God above all else. Thankfully, they each individually began a personal relationship with Jesus and that makes all the difference.

I loved the cover, the story and the characters. The characters are realistic and so is the conversation between them. I loved the little town and its traditions.
The story is enjoyable and I loved the simple language and how the story flows. This is my first book by the author and I plan to read more books by her.
Overall, a simple romance in a cute setting.
