Max Crumbly is a it again, trying to save the day (and his life) in this new (mis)adventure
There are so many things to love about Max Crumbly, and the brilliance of author Rachel Renee Russell is that she shows that kids can be kids and still do some really amazing things. In this third installment we find Max and Erin once again trying to do what's right, saving the day while at the same time keeping themselves alive and out of jail. :-) Along the way we meet some interesting characters, and because of Russell's writing style we are able to capture the excitement and the anxiety that Max Crumbly experiences, that I think most would agree is not so different than our own.Love how things ordinary kids are not afraid to try to do the extraordinary, even when it might not be the safest road to take. Reminds us that no matter what age you are it is possible for you to make a difference. You just have to be willing to try.Full of adventure, suspense and some fun, the new MISADVENTURES of Max Crumbly doesn't disappoint.

Max is our HERO (sort off). Erin is in the COMPUTER CLUB.
And they are in a huge smelly DUMPSTER, and can’t get out.
Max talks a lot. Erin is a COMPUTER GENIUS.
Max talks a lot. Erin loves MATH!
There 3 BAD GUYS: Ralph, Tucker, and Moose. And they RUTHLESS CRIMINALS.
Max is getting nervous. Erin gets to the teacher’s desk and gets the keyboard.
“Did you get in?” Max said.
“YES! I’M IN!” she said. And ERIN IS HACKING INTO THE SECURITY SYSTEM!
Now it’s MAX’S turn. He goes to the 3rd floor at school, and he SAVES the WORLD and becomes the HERO (finally) and he is AMAZING!!! But I won’t tell you what he did. (Sorry about that.)

P.S.: Principal Smith
P.S.: Police Sirens
P.S.: Problem Solved
P.S.: Princess Sugarplum
P.S. means “postscript” or “post script” (which I didn’t know!).

I found my HERO with MAX CRUMBLY in other Languages: 20 (so far)! NEAT!!! But our REAL HERO is Rachel Renée Russell!!!

I liked this book because it had shocking parts everywhere that would make you so you didn't want to stop reading. Every book leaves you on a cliffhanger so you want to buy the whole series. In my opinion I find this book and the rest of the books interesting. This is why I gave this book a five star rating.

My son is 9 and reads a lot. He loves this book because of the pictures, the excitement, and the way the lettering is fun and bold. He’s read through the book so quickly we got two others comings.

There is a simple story plot turned into a nightmare. I enjoyed this book and would recommend buying it as it has a simple middle school plot turned into a nightmare.

My fifth grade readers love reading about Max. It’s always challenging finding books that boys will devour. This series fits the bill though; it’s a one that I will never regret investing in.
