A humorous look at the “world of dog” and how it relates to humankind. The author presents 2 views, from the mind of a dog and from the mind of a human. He goes a step further and shows what us humans can learn and apply from this simple wisdom.
Sadie, the authors dog, who is a rescue from Texas, was his inspiration. And what an inspiration she is! She enjoys life to the fullest and that alone is something we all should aspire to.
Each chapter covers a topic such as “living in the moment”, “embracing change”, “being persistent”, and “knowing when to bark”. Sadie’s perception in all its hilarity is presented first. Then the author’s take is presented to cement the concept. Thoroughly enjoyed it!

I loved this book. While reading it, one of the grandkids came up and said 'hey, I know Sadie, can I read it too?' She thought it was hilarious and passed it on to her brother. When he saw his name in it, next to Sadies' name, he knew he was as famous as Sadie. What a great reading not only for us adults but also I would highly recommend it for children also. Buy it today and enjoy!

Not a real deep book, but entertaining and a nice beach read which was the purpose of this book for me. Mostly common sense advice , but was nicely put in perspective of a dog.

Think Like a Dog by Scott MacDonald

Being a dog lover I couldn’t help but want to read Scott MacDonald’s book. It was really fascinating. I did find the book to be a lot more serious than I had expected it to be; I guess I was expecting more humor for some reason. That may have been my fault. The business end of the book just seemed very pushed and not as honest as the rest.
Sometimes it read as two different books to me.
That being said; I thoroughly enjoyed every viewpoint given from his dog, Sadie. It was very refreshing!
I loved his end of the chapter wrap-ups, that broke everything down for you.
The illustrations and pictures of Sadie’s were definitely adorable and certainly a bonus!

What a great way for Scott to write about being "Happy in Life" and "Successful at Work" through the eyes of his dog, Sadie. You must read this book and see for yourself. You won't be disappointed if you love dogs. You might even enjoy life and work at little better.

5.0 out of 5 stars CLEVER and INSPIRING
Reviewed in Canada on April 29, 2019
As a dog owner and business Executive I just loved this book. Author MacDonald has given us a CLEVER and INSPIRING gem. Each chapter has a story told through the eyes of Sadie, a wonderful rescue dog. I read the book with my dog Shadow at my heels and it made me appreciate her even more. MacDonald then draws a parallel to the lessons learned from Sadie's story and leadership in business and life. This clever approach makes the book so enjoyable and inspiring coming from our four legged friend. I recently read MacDonalds book titled Saving Investa and that made this read even more meaningful because of his credibility as a CEO himself. I highly recommend this book.
