This book's storyline was okay. I liked the Christian theme in this story. Some parts of this story made me laugh 😂. I liked Sierra's character. I liked Max's character. The ending was okay.

    I loved how everyone pulled together in this little town when someone need them. They considered each other family. Max and Sierra were such a fun loving couple to read about. I hope they are in future stories.

    I enjoyed getting to know Sierra Lawson, the heroine, and Max St. James, the hero. At first, I had trouble connecting with them, but gradually I grew to care about them. As a result, the story was not one I was drawn into right away. It took a little time and patience, but eventually I was hooked and wanted to know how things would turn out.

    I like this author and series. It is a fun, light read...but I’m disappointed in some details that have gotten lost as the series progresses. A couple that got married is suddenly referred to as engaged again, a little girl is about 8...then later referred to as a preschooler, a little boy is “Andy” in the first few books and “Adam” at the end of this one, a cake is baked for Teddy’s birthday but taken to Johnny’s party...those mixed up details are small but significant in the overall experience of the series. I’m disappointed that the author and editors failed to catch those errors.
