I already have a ton of cook books but this one is a must! I’ve been cooking healthy food for years but the recipes in this book are amazingly tasty. They also promote wellness and calm and leave me wanting to continue eating healthy. My family (including two very young children) love the recipes too!

There are several things I like about this cookbook. I have the Anti-Anxiety Diet book and there is a lot of information in it. However, if you don't want to read all.the.details. this cookbook is for you. Not only does it have amazing recipes that are easy to cook, it gives you information about WHY you need to eat real food. Our society is built on processed garbage and chemicals. This cookbook helps you with what to cook and explains information about how to use food as medicine.

If you want a deeper dive after reading the information in the cookbook, I highly recommend the Anti Anxiety Diet book by Ali.

Ali is so knowledgeable and provides a lot of information explaining how our bodies react to the food we eat. If you haven't listened to her Naturally Nourished Podcast, you need to go to the app you use for Podcasts and subscribe now!!

I absolutely loved this book. It is a game changer for my entire family, including my kids (6 and 4) who have struggled with anxiety. We have tried every recipe and not been disappointed. My favorite aspect is that it emphasizes REAL FOOD and has allowed for some interesting discussion with the family about what real food actually is-and no artificial anything! So I’ve recommended it to families with restricted diets. Most importantly, eating this way has helped with my anxiety more than any pill or potion out there. Makes it easy to do the hard work.

I LOVE this book ! I have multiple sclerosis and am always looking for easy, nutrient-dense menues. This book is the real deal. It will help the healthy stay healthy and those with health issues to overcome them. The recipes are fun, abundance-based, and balanced for everyone.

My grandchildren will love these dishes. There's even a section JUST for kids.

Best of all the variety of superfoods will nourish my body-meats for amino acids, bone broth 5 ways (Yay!), fun, vitamin-packed salads everyone will love, veggies I look forward to savoring-(crispy brussels witrh plum vinegar, cauliflower pine nut salad. Mmmm!), and healthy/low glycemic, delicious indulgences (avocado brownies, hemp nut bars with chocolate. Delish!)

This is a lightweight, just-the-right size book I will use often and give at the holidays to those I most love.

We’ve tried 10 of the recipes in this book and will make 5 of them again and probably 3 will make it into our regular rotation of meals.
These are good recipes for families already on a healthy food journey, not a first step towards healthy eating.

The first third of the book is all about detoxing and microbiomes. I was looking for more of a cookbook and less informational as the information in the first third of the book was things I already knew. The recipes contain a lot of hard to find ingredients and most are difficult to make. I will use a few of them but most of the book was useless to me.

This cookbook is incredible! I love the recipes and planned our Christmas dinner and Thanksgiving meals Out of this book. So good! The first two chapters are helpful in understanding the benefits of eating Whole Foods and discovering what works for you and your body. I’m 7 weeks into my healthy lifestyle to rid myself of eczema and Ali and Becki are the first people to have offered me truly helpful advice. I’m so grateful for these two!

Ali is one of the most knowledgeable individuals in the functional medicine community and I'm really enjoying the recipes in this book. I am not crazy about cooking, but it's more enjoyable when the recipes are solid and the dishes/baked goods come out tasting amazing. I especially love that Ali uses real food (like dates) in desserts instead of sweeteners (stevia, erythritol, etc) that many other cookbook authors rely on. I've had issues with insulin resistance and gave up sugar over a year ago, but I also don't tolerate the natural sweeteners. I feel like sugar and sweeteners were a main culprit in my anxiety.

We've made several recipes from this book, and they have been fantastic! The citrus pumpkin pancakes are a family favorite - not too sweet but still taste slightly indulgent for a weekend treat. I also like that the recipe descriptions explain how the main ingredients help to balance your mood and reduce anxiety.
