Ash and Briony were thrown together because of her brother Ben and he is Ash’s best friend. Accepting yourself and your situation scares the bravest of people. Not having a supportive father also is not a good situation to grow up in.

Two different people but drawn together like a moth to a flame. Ashton is Briony's brothers bf. But Briony loved and hated him. Ashton, though terribly attracted to Briony, due to his father, never thought himself capable of love or relationships. But Briony was about to turn his world upside down in the best way possible.

I’ve got to admit that I just didn’t like Ash. Nothing about him was a bit likeable, from his leading Briony on when she was in college, to his flippant attitude when he met her again ten years later. The fact that he was best friends with her older brother Ben just made things worse.
Their re-connection was a slow burn as Ash struggled with his dysfunctional relationship with his dad that seemed to affect his boneheaded reactions toward Briony.
My heart broke for her when she confessed the outcome of their affair where he left her again! I mean he was a billionaire and he couldn’t comfort her with some financial support? Ugh.
He tried to redeem himself at the end, and Briony was a whole lot sweeter and forgiving than he deserved.

I really enjoyed this book! The character arcs felt real even in crazy circumstances. Their emotions and chemistry were true. I just enjoyed their journey the right amount of steamy, touching and over the top. One thing I don't like about this author is a lack of a real epilogue, I wanted more, a glimpse into the future.

And Even though She knows better, There's just SomeThing about Him...
That draws Her RIGHT IN~ Time & TIME Again!
That's why...
When an unfortunate incident occurs & He asks Her the "Stay With Me" She accepts His offer!
But it's only later as She puts Her HEART on the Line ask'n HIM to "Stay With Me" that She learns what TRUE pain Really IS!
HowEver, nothing Ventured... Nothing Gained!
And it's only through Risk'n IT ALL ONCE MORE...
And ask'n "Stay With Me" that LOVE triumphs over ALL!

As romances go, I like stories like this. I like it even better when the reader gets to know everything, even if the characters don't until long after the story ends. It makes the happily-ever-after better. :-)

I felt that the author had the ability to convey some depth to the personalities of the characters bringing life and likability to every person.
The writing draws you in and keeps you interested until the end.

I was very impressed with how simply and effortlessly this author told this addicting, multi-layered story with well-developed world building and great characters.
