Redeemables (The BOHICA Chronicles Book 3) Kindle Edition
NOTHING KEEPS A MAN AND HIS 'DOG' APART...
But what if the dog is a man-killing beast made up of alien genetics?
Thor is with his own kind as they range the Zoo, but something is missing for him. Charles is with his own kind as they work both inside and outside the walls of the ZOO.
Once connected, the two of them are now split apart by events that overcame each.
Or are they?
Follow the BOHICA Warriors as they continue to make a name for themselves as the most professional of the MERC Zoo teams. So much so that people on the outside have heard of them.
Follow Thor as he asserts himself in his pack.
Around the Zoo, nothing remains static, and some things might converge yet again if death doesn't get in the way.

About the authors
I am a retired Marine infantry colonel and now a full-time writer living in Colorado Springs with my wife Kiwi and twin five-year-old girls, Danika Dawn and Darika Marie. I am a two-time Nebula Award Finalist, a two-time Dragon Award Finalist, and a USA Today Bestselling writer.
I published my first work back in 1978, a so-so short story titled "Secession." Since then, I have been published in newspapers, magazines, and in book format in fiction, political science, business, military, sports, race relations, and personal relations fields. I returned to writing fiction in 2009, and I currently have over 100 titles published, 80 being novels. My novelette, "Weaponized Math," was a finalist for the 2017 Nebula Award, "Fire Ant" was a finalist for the 2018 Nebula Award for Best Novella, "Integration" was a finalist for the 2018 Dragon Award for Best Military Science Fiction or Fantasy Novel, and "Sentenced to War" was a finalist for the 2021 Dragon Award in the same category.
My undergraduate degree was earned at the U. S. Naval Academy (Class of 1979), and I have attended graduate school at U. S. International University and the University of California, San Diego, earning a masters and doctorate. I am a lifetime member of the Disabled American Veterans, the Veterans of Foreign Wars, the US. Naval Academy Alumni Association, and the Science Fiction and Fantasy Writers of America where I'm serving as the Nebula Award Commissioner.
I have rather eclectic tastes. I have won awards in photography, cooking, writing, and several sports, earning national championships in rugby and equestrian events. When I'm not writing, I'm reading, cooking, going to the gym, taking my girls fishing, or traveling. I attend quite a few cons over the course of a year, and love meeting other people who love books.
I write because I love it. I only hope that others might read my work and get a bit of enjoyment or useful information out of my efforts.
Michael Anderle (ok, weird talking about myself in the 3rd person) (1967-Hopefully a long time from NOW) was born in Houston, Tx. A very curious child, he got into trouble - a lot. What to do with an inquisitive mind when he was grounded? Read!
Ok, done with all of that 3rd person stuff.
In the first 20 years, I mostly read Science Fiction and Fantasy. In the last 10 years I have enjoyed Urban Fantasy and Military Fiction. With this background, I've been blessed with creating The Kurtherian Gambit series, a well-selling, and fan loved, collection of stories.
The fans have propelled these stories beyond my wildest imagination and they should get all of the credit for sharing with friends, family and occasionally the random person on the street. They are fantastic!
Not too much to say about me. I'm ex-Army, ex-Marine, ex-married, now living my retirement in Thailand.
I'm a whale reader, constantly in a book, and I wanted to see if I could write a novel. They say write what you know, so I wrote BECOMING A MAN IN THAILAND. The book contains some nightlife scenes, and the Thai government doesn't always take kindly to that, so to protect my retirement visa, I chose a pen name.
I'm also a beta reader for several other authors, and that opened up the chance for me to write with Michael Anderle and Jonathon Brazee in THE BOHICA CHRONICLES.

This is a different type of syfy, and a well told story. Particularly so for those who love their animal friends and see the true intelligence and keen intellect behind their eyes.
Very highly recommended for syfy lovers and particularly for those who consider their pets as friends.
At no time did I think the author was new or the work developmental. The editing is superb and the adventure never lags. Pacing is steady. Brazee seems to be just as good at mentoring new authors as he is at producing new fiction consistently.
Enjoyed the book, looking forward to Thor.

The story of this gang of misfits, who get together to start up the BOHICA Company, is one of ups and downs, losses and gains - but, more so, it's about the friendships that can be formed through trials and adversities.
It's also a most heartwarming story about loyalty, and love.
I really enjoyed the cameraderie that grew between Charles, Booker, Roo, Mick, Reen and, latterly, Sophie. It was something that I imagine would last for a very long time.
But, what really caught my heart, was the love shared between Charles, and Thor!
Thor was such a wonderful animal, to me. He was loyal, loving and, despite the treatment that the dog sitter meted out to him, and the resulting decision that Charles had to make, for Thor's sake, the sheer loyalty, and love, that Thor felt for him, was beautiful.
There couldn't have been a better ending, than the one that happened!
Despite this being the ending of this trilogy , the authors have written a novelette, to go with it, entitled: Thor.
So, before I do anything else, I'm going ahead to read this, as I just can't get enough of that wonderfully loving, and loyal, creature.
So, I'll be reading it once I've finished this review, and then I'll catch you on the flip side, to let you know what I think about this extra story!
