Software developer by trade, fantasy writer by hobby. My fantasy writing began around the time I started dungeon mastering 1st Edition Dungeons & Dragons in middle school (early 80's). In the beginning, I used campaign settings like Greyhawk and the Forgotten Realms. As these were very human-focused campaign setting, I started working on my home brew setting called Bal-Kriav (http://bal-kriav.appspot.com/index.htm).
Over the years, friends have urged me to write a book, but I was more of a wiki-style writer, not one for dialogues. In November 2019, two friends reached out and urged me to put some of the lore of Bal-Kriav into a book. I picked one of my favorite creations for this first book, Raxcivillibus Dumu-loc. He is portrayed in the Godspawn Saga along with a huge cast of characters, earth elementals, cambions, half-undead creatures, liches, giants, chaos aberrations and a host of other races.
