Holy smokes Cora did it again with another Amazing book. I am such a huge fan of cora and love her books so much. This book did not disappoint me either as it was a fantastic enemies to lover books. Both Skylar and Katrina were going through some rough times but when his sister is left devastated they both came back to help her out but what happened in the past could it stay there? This book was such a great story and will have you hooked from page one until the end of it and damn if I dont want more from them. I absolutely love both characters and their snarkiness with each other as well as the pull of the connection to each other and wowsa let's not forget the smoking hot sex scenes. Thank you Cora on another fantastic book.

This is a book that I had complicated feelings about. I will be honest and say that when I started this book I found both Syler and Katrina to be kind of annoying and a bit unlikable. However, as the story unfolded and I really get to know these characters my feelings grew and changed. Syler went from juvenile, jaded, jokester to a good guy with a surprisingly vulnerable heart and Katrina went from standoffish and judgmental to incredibly relatable. In the end I was so in love with these characters. Their journey to a HEA was long, difficult and filled with some painful moments because of anger and misunderstandings. I highly recommend this book. Katrina and Syler's romance is sure to touch your heart as these two finally get the HEA they certainly earned and richly deserve. This book has an excellent cast of secondary characters and I myself would love to see Syler's sister and brother and Katrina's brother get their own books.

If you LOVE Enemies to Lovers, Romance, Bestfriends little brother reads then THIS BOOK IS FOR YOU!

This book is about Syler and Katrina, and i can i just say that their chemistry was Off The Charts HOT! I loved their banter and their cheeky comments all the while their inside voices were screaming at them. Syler and Katrina have history, they have basically grown up together and when they are both forced under the one roof due to life events they find that denying their chemistry and feelings proves to be something they can no longer hide. Katrina sneeks into his room one night but mistaking Syler for his older brother starts the ball rolling and lets just say the flood gates are opened and neither one of them can close them now....

I loved this read and it will definitely be o my to 10 reads for this year!

This a complete new standalone, unrelated to any previous works.

Ms. Brent delivered the exact book I needed this holiday season. It is filled with witty banter, a bit of angst, steamy scenes, a small town and plenty of heartfelt moments.

Syler and Katrina have this love/hate relationship and quite a complicated past. When we first meet these two, they both are running from their lives and situations. It is clear that neither of them has settled into life at this point. The push and pull between the characters was sometimes hilarious and oftentimes telling.

Ms. Brent has such a knack for writing all her characters three-dimensionally; even her side characters are so well written. I love the small complexities that Ms. Brent adds to her characters. You simply feel so engaged with the story right from the start. This book was a very quick and enjoyable read. I truly hope that Ms. Brent will revisit these characters as I am dying to see what happens next with most of the characters!

In all honesty, romantic comedies aren't usually my thing but I really liked this story. The vibe between Syler and Katrina really is petty and immature but that's who they've always been with each other at least until they start seeing each other in a different light. Plus there's Danielle and Annika and yeah I just got a kick out of all of it and at a time when I really needed a reason to smile and laugh and just escape for a while.

This book was just what i needed! Sweet Christmas story full of fun and love.

Syler lives a bit of a loner life. He moves around from city to city after he vowed to get out of his hometown when he was younger. The only family he's close to is his sister. When she calls upset Syler thinks nothing of dropping everything and going home to support her.

Katrina is public enemy number one. After a drunken rant about a sports star shes been suspended from work. Alone and down in the dumps Katrina gets a call from her best friend. Its come at the right time and because she has no work she decides to go stay with her for Christmas.

Syler and Katrina, were always enemies when they were kids. Syler was Katrina's best friends annoying little brother. Katrina was Syler's sisters best friend he loved to annoy. Now years later nothing has change but were things ever as they seemed?

Such a lovely heart warming story!

I loved the dynamics between Syler and Katrina. Even when they're having a go at each other theres a warm undertone to it all. Although his comments were said to get under her skin i think it showed how vulnerable he was and as the book goes on you see him reveal it all to Katrina. The same goes for her too, their i annoy you, you annoy me relationship was just one big cover for what was really going on.

Loved the storyline, theres lots of smiles and laughs along the way. You'll find yourself rooting for them from the start.

I loved the side characters and i'm hoping at some point Sylers brother and sister get their own books! It will make an amazing trilogy! I also love Katrina's wacky mother who added greatly to the laughs.

Such a fantastic, heart warming story and the epilogue just put the sparkles on top! I loved that ending!

Great holiday story i'm glad the author decided to write!

WOW Syler McKnight is a fast passed read it doesn’t hang around it is incredibly witty and that is all thanks to Katrina with her no frills attitude but once we are graced with Syler’s sarcastic humour we are certainly kept on our toes!
Katrina is dealing with the aftermath of The Bath Bomb story despite this she is still rather upbeat but when she finds out her best friends husband has just walked out on her and her four children she immediately knows where she needs to be... back home in Maple Springs with her best friend.
Syler Is Gemma’s brother he can work freelance from anywhere so doesn’t hesitate to come home to Maple Springs...Katrina and Syler have no idea that either of them have the same plan.
Whilst Gemma and the children are absolutely delighted to have best friend, brother and uncle home the same can’t be said about Syler and Katrina after all they have history so they get off to a rather frosty reunion and it’s all fun and games.
However in true Cora Brent style family concerns and drama are never to far away this is all woven into a fabulously written festive story that you will absolutely love.!!

Wasn’t sure at the start if I’d like either character as they seemed a bit dysfunctional and lacking backbones. However got right into the drama and nonsense of their relationship and extended families. The kids were so cute and kats mum was a hoot, very festive and I’d really liked to have seen Ryder and Gemma both get books however seems it was a one off. Only thing I’d have really liked was to see both Sykes and Katrina get done retribution against their supposed friend/colleague.
