These Harlequin romance novels have the same typical story line. Billioniare meets an innocent young woman, doesn't want marriage just a quick one night stand. Sometimes the innocent becomes pregnant, searches for the guy, they marry out of duty and then the girl expects the guy to fall in love with her as she has fallen in love with him. Sometimes I find myself rolling my eyes as I read the stories. It may be the last page but the man who swears he'll never settle down or wants a family, bares his soul, 'I love you'. So far from reality, they actually are fun to read. Basically a short story. I can get through a book in a couple of hours.

I thoroughly enjoyed this book, characters and plot were very well written and developed. The h was a sheltered young lady who couldn’t read or write because she was dyslexic and her father wanted to keep her dependent on him. The H was after vengeance for his father’s death and the loss of the family home and business. Her unexpected pregnancy kept them together after the h found out about the vengeance plot. Looking forward to the next book in the series.

Claudia was dyslexic, and her father used her disability as a way of controlling her. If she didn’t learn to read or write, her father knew she’d always need him. She handled her disability like the queen she was. She didn’t allow it to define her as a person. It was cute when she met Ciro Trapani for the first time. You’d think it was the first time she met a handsome man. Her wedding night was perfect. It was everything she had hope and dreamed for. That was until she overhears her husband on the phone in the middle of the night. I have to admit, Claudia has a backbone made of steel. I loved the way she handled that situation and every situation thrown at her. Ciro’s world was turned upside down the day he married Claudia. What started out as a marriage of revenge, turned into him wondering how he ever lived without Claudia. I loved the end. This was a wonderful book!
