I’m 39. Why is my mother still so controlling? WHY won’t our boss DO ANYTHING about the coworker we’ve been complaining about for years? Why is my boyfriend so co-dependent? These are just a few of the questions I have asked myself for YEARS. Finally, I am getting some clear, straight forward answers to those questions, thanks to this book! And now YOU are probably the one with the questions... ‘How did this book answer them?’, you might ask. ‘Couldn’t you get the answers from any astrology book, if that’s where you’re seeking the answers?‘ or ‘What makes this book different?’ Well, I’ll tell you. I thought this would just be a funnier approach to the standard astrology guide, and I’d laugh and put it in the shelf never to look at it again (except to admire the beautiful cover)... but I literally have not been able to put this book down for three days. Okay, fine. Not LITERALLY, but close enough! I’ve carried it everywhere with me, and I’ve shown the girls at work. We’ve gone through all our sections and we’ve read up on our bosses… It’s really REALLY helped us understand our coworkers, our supervisors, and even our selves a little better. This book is so helpful, and more easily referenced than others, because each sign is broken down into your possible relationship with that person, from professional (boss, coworker, employee), casual (friendship and dating), and family (parent, sibling, child). It breaks down the positives and negatives about being in that relationship with the sign and offers tips on how to communicate more effectively with the result you want/need (without anyone getting upset!). It also hints at areas where you are likely to get no traction with a certain sign and should either compromise or let go of the issue because they aren’t going to budge. lol So far, and I am FAR into the book (I’ve read everything on my sister, parents, son, coworkers’ friends and bosses), it has been SPOT ON. The only section I didn’t agree with much, was my Sagittarius sister. However, my Sag boss and coworker were spot on. Plus, my sister has always been a bit ‘off’… lol. I was actually hoping the most from this book, for insight on HER. The fact that I got none only proves there really is something wrong with that girl… not the book!! ROFL. I believe I am going to get a copy of this book for both of my bosses and make little page flags with the names of each employee and mark their ‘employee’ section in their sign. Maybe our bosses will get a little insight into how our minds work, how to keep us motivated, and how to effectively offer criticism when needed without making us shut down or feel resentful. If they’d bother to read it, I think it would help! The book is set up in a way that makes it INCREDIBLY easy to quickly reference exactly what you want. everything is broken down into small, one paragraph sections. So if I want to go to my boss with a new Idea, I can literally just flip to ‘Virgo, Boss, how to present you ideas’ and in a few sentences, I will have several easy to remember tips for making my best presentation! Obviously, it isn’t just for work, though. As I mentioned above, it offers the skinny on how to have the best relationship with your parents, siblings, friends and lovers as well!. I would call this book a ‘quick reference guide’. It’s also a HILARIOUS read! It keeps you interested and engaged and makes you WANT to learn more about the people in your life, because it makes it FUN. Then again, that may just be the Aries in me talking 😉. I would say this book may be added to my very short list of ‘must read’ books. And I do mean short. This book makes the list four titles long. That is how strongly I feel about it. If you like learning about astrology and need a good laugh, then get this book! Things are stated in a blunt way, sometimes with sarcasm, slang, or *choice* words. I've shared it with friends, and they've laughed right along with me. Love it!

This book is super funny and pretty spot on. It's a great read and also a great gift for friends who dabble or have any interest in astrology. We read it on a girls trip and all had a great laugh.

Amazon Vine Customer Review of Free Product( What's this? )
I love astrology and have lots of books ranging from the super complicated to the basic and fun, this one falls in the later category. It doesn't go over any kind of additional information like how houses and planet positions play a role, just basic bare bones zodiac information for you.

It breaks each sign into a chapter and goes over how the sign functions as partners (romantically, professionally and platonic) as well as what to do when they're part of your family as well. Based on the title of the book, you'd expect some cursing within the content and its barely there. The author writes in a more laid back manner, adding some humor without being a try hard which I like. I think this would be a fun book to keep around or give as a gift to someone who might think its cool, but for hard core astrologists they might find it too "immature".
