Top review from the United States

I read the Harlequin regency stories for their strong engaging female leads. Unfortunately this particular books female lead was irritational and quickly became very irritating. Every time I thought she was starting to act like a normal logical individual she would suddenly turn into some sort of self centered harridan. I finished the book hoping that she would evolve into a more relatable character but it never really happened.
