About the author

T.L. always hated math, so it was a good thing she had a way with words. Since she was a shy and quirky kid; words were her best friends. She would imagine entire worlds in her head and talk to herself endlessly. Her mother wondered if she was speaking with ghosts for a while.
Her older sister was a voracious reader of trashy romance novels and would pass them down to her after she had finished them. T.L. was the only 10-year-old kid sitting in class reading "The Stud" by Jackie Collins during reading time. Oddly enough, she never got called out on it.
As she grew older, her tastes evolved, but one thing held fast; her undying attachment to love stories. One day out of the blue, she decided to write the love stories she always wanted to read instead of searching for her story. Since then, writing has been a dream fulfilled for her and she could not be happier.
She enjoys writing about love, regardless of gender and is a proud supporter of the LGBTQ community.
T.L. calls the Pacific Northwest her home and enjoys the quiet rural life of her little oceanside home with her playful/crazy husband and their giant dog Noah.

- Reviewed in the United States on July 22, 2023Finally Josh and Noah go deep into their feelings, needs and doubts. Their journeys were not easy for them or me, the reader. All journeys were worth the emotional roller coasters. I love these two men deeply.
Another wonderful thing from my reader's perspective was the editing and proof reading. I did not have to stop the flow of the story for grammar especially confusing pronoun use and verb tense errors. Thank you.
- Reviewed in the United States on July 2, 2020True Faith continues the story of Noah and Josh. Fair warning: Going forward, I may mention something that may turn out to be spoiler-like if you've yet to read either of the books. With that being said, feel free to skip this part of my review. Book two picks up where book one left off. After everything Noah and Josh went through, you'd think they'd finally earned that happily-ever-after of theirs, but nope! There were obstacles and challenges to be overcome, and you know what they say about the things that are worth having... This was a far better read compared to its predecessor. It was still rather long, but not as long as book one, and the pacing went hand-in-hand with the development of both the characters and the story. Noah won my heart over the span of both books, having come so far and fully embracing his truest self.
- Reviewed in the United States on December 8, 2021I’m reviewing the audio edition. I feel this is just one of those stories that I would have bet couldn’t be resolved. These guys are looking for something totally different in their lives. Josh has this problem of feeling not deserving and his life heads that way until a friend steps in and reminds him of his original goals. Going for this career not only requires his full attention but also takes him totally away from Noah. I really was not liking Josh much. He really seems a downer and just not likeable to me. Pretty selfish overall. Then there is Noah who has the world by the tail and yet is looking for meaning to his life. He seems to do everything he can to work things out with Josh but nothing seems to work. I was so emotional during most of this story. Mad and wanting to shake Josh. I wanted something to make things better for Noah. This is a story that grabbed me and made me want to keep reading. I can’t wait to see the next story from this author. I feel Corey H. Bennson did a great job at narration. I really got a feel for these guys.
- Reviewed in the United States on June 24, 2020This book picks up where Noah and Josh left us in book one. Josh is still recovering from the vicious attack he suffered at the hands of a cruel man. Noah is still ever-present, taking care of him. Things are settling, and they’re happy and in love. Cue sad music...Noah leaves for a film that’s being shot overseas, and they are apart for a couple of months. Things go downhill from there.
Watching their relationship take a nosedive was heartbreaking to watch. At one point I wanted to punch Josh, and hug the crap out of Noah. Then I wanted to lock them in a room and make them see reason. As most things do, it comes down to communication, or, in their case, lack of communication. Tempers flaring never help either. I guess you can say I got a little invested in the story.
This was a great follow up to book one. I will always hope for more time with characters I form an attachment to. Noah and Josh are special. The side characters were as amazing as they were in book one, too. I enjoyed the group of friends they had.
As with Just Like Heaven, the writing was top-notch, and the storytelling was captivating. While I was sad during most of the storyline, I understood it. What happened to Josh was beyond traumatic, and it was going to leave deep emotional scars that Josh would have to work through.
This book really can’t be appreciated or fully understood without reading Just Like Heaven first.

- Reviewed in the United States on July 5, 2020his is the perfect second book in the series.
It ties up some lose ends, completes the circle of love started years earlier for Noah and Josh, and ends on a high note!
If there is ever a book that 'skirts around the need' for couples therapy, this is it.
So many times deep, meaningful conversations could have resolved issues before they became so destructive.
Friends are great, but they definitely weren't qualified to give as much advice as they did, as helpful as they were meaning to be.
Hollywood, once again, is able to eat its young. Luckily these two men were strong enough to escape, though with lots of battle scars to show for the struggle.
I look forward to see what T.L. has to offer in the future. Maybe with a little less angst. I need to recover from this series!
- Reviewed in the United States on July 13, 2020Better than the first one. It had emotions and it was well-thought-out. The issues between the characters didn't hinder each other and they worked on their relationship in ways that didn't make me want to shake him. At least not all the time lol.
This book was well written and the characters are more rounded than they were in the first book, which I'm grateful for.
- Reviewed in the United States on June 15, 2020True Faith is the second book in The Young Americans Series by TL Bradford. This contemporary M/M Romance explores the relationship between Josh and Noah. A journey through hard times and easy. A beautiful lovestory that holds truth, passion and emotions. I highly recommend this book to those looking for a well developed and well written lovestory with characters you can care about and relate to, feeling the emotions and getting caught up in the journey.
I was able to read an advanced copy of this title and am reviewing voluntarily and honestly my own thoughts, opinion and reactions based on that copy.
- Reviewed in the United States on June 23, 2020I read an ARC of this book. This is the continuation of Noah and Josh's story. It does have a happy ending but there are LOTS of feels involved. Both people struggle with their emotions and with hiding things from the other and Josh especially has to figure out which is more important, his life with Noah or his career. This couple has a long road but it does turn out in the end. Again there are issues of PTSD and trauma. Overall, a good book. Just be prepared for the tissues.
