Full of places to visit and
full of insight and things to
see and do.
Reviewed in the United States on November 13, 2020
It's basically a list of places to visit with minimal description. There's no map view. Most places listed don't have a picture associated with it.
The photos are more like a picture of the person who visited than a picture that draws one into the place. The cover would suggest otherwise, but it's misleading.
To capture the essence of this book, one could make a book as follows: call it "quaint towns" and then take a selfie on a road in one quaint town and then write a couple sentences or catch phrases for a couple towns you thought were quaint. Probably great for the people who did the things in the quaint town, but not that inspiring to a complete stranger.
I've been to some of the places mentioned, and this book did those places little justice other than to include them in the book.
There's some flowery language with catchy pitch phrasing.
