4.6 4.6 out of 5 stars 960 ratings

Sometimes the biggest emotional risk can reap the best romantic reward…

After everything she worked for is destroyed, pediatrician Natasha Gray is determined to build a new life. Divorced, bankrupt and suddenly a single mom, she’s ready to start over in Silver Springs—on her own. She certainly doesn’t need help from Mack Amos, the man who’s already broken her heart twice.

Although Mack has had feelings for Tash since they first met, too many things have stood in the way. He’s always given her the support she needs, though, and he’ll do the same now. Even if the desire he wrestles with threatens to undermine his intentions…

But her heart is not the only reason Natasha wants to keep Mack at bay. More time in her life means getting closer to her son, which could lead to a revelation neither of them is ready to face.

Another hit from Brenda Novak!

Another hit from Brenda Novak!
When I found you by Brenda Novak is a Silver Springs novel with ties to Whiskey Creek. I've read all of both series so it's fun to see them starting to come together. In this book, we learn more about Mac Amos Amos, one of the brothers from Amos auto body. We meet Dr. Natasha Gray, a newly single mom and divorcee. Fresh from a tragedy perpetuated by an employee in her own practice, and trying to start over in a new town, her honorary "stepbrother" steps in to lend a hand. We also learn more about Ayana, Natasha's mother who's made an appearance in a previous book. And, we also get to catch up with and get an update on Dylan Amos, his wife Cheyenne, and their son. This was a major plot line in a previous book and it was nice to read the update, unexpected discoveries, and conclusion. Brenda Novak writes such good stories with such wonderful character development! When whether you read this as the next book in the series or as a standalone, you'll love it! BN book #33, on my way to 50!

This love story is about Mack Amos who is the youngest of five brothers. They have worked hard to build their father’s garage business from one of disaster to one of the best in their small town and the surrounding area. It is also about Natasha who lived with the Amos brothers all through high school and with their help and support was able to complete college and also medical school. She reached her dream of becoming a Pediatrician and opened her own office. That is just the beginning of their love story, traveling a bumpy road full of twist and turns. As I read this book I could feel the emotions that surrounded these two. If you like a well written romance then I highly recommend you read “When I Found You”.

Right from page one Brenda Novak's When I Found You had me hooked. I found it to be quite emotional. Natasha and Mack had feelings for one another for years. When they met she was only sixteen and he was twenty five. There was no acting on their feelings then. Now years later Natasha is back in Silver Springs to start her life over. She is now a divorced single mother whose life has imploded. As a doctor living in Los Angeles she had her own pediatric practice. She could not face the whispers and looks from those around her after what had happened.

It was Mack that got in touch with her after hearing what had happened. He helped her and her son move. They reached the house she had rented after only seeing pictures of it online. To say she was disappointed is an understatement. The pictures must have been taken some time ago as the house did not resemble the pictures. Mack offered to stay and help her settle in and try to make the place like a home. A seemingly unlikely task at the moment.

I could go on but I don't want there to be spoilers. There is so much more to their story. Any fan of Brenda Novak's knows she doesn't disappoint. I loved every minute of this book and didn't want it to end.

Pediatrician Natasha (Tash) Gray and Mack Amos first met when her mother married his father and they became step-siblings. She was in her teens and he was in his twenties so any feelings were strictly taboo. Fast forward a few years and Tash is a mom to a little boy named Lucas, divorced, and has lost her practice. Plus, the question of paternity comes into play where Mack might be the father. I rate this a solid 4.5 stars. It's a good read, but the ending seemed a little rushed. The author does a great job describing the characters and scenes as they happen in the book.

Oh boy, I am so happy about this book! Brenda Novak takes us back to Silver Springs AND Whiskey Creek, two of my all time favorite locales. But, this can truly be read as a stand-alone, something Ms. Novak does so well. And once again, she does it with so much heart and soul. We get to revisit the Amos brothers from Whiskey Creek; Natasha, who lived with the Brothers as a teen after her mom married their father, and Mack, the youngest of the brothers. This story happens many years later and develops slowly to a wonderful HEA. I loved Lucas, Natasha’s son, and what a great little guy he was. Two families intertwined over many years, once again give us a wonderful melding between Silver Springs and Whiskey Creek.

Like all of Brenda Novak's books her stories are well put together. You fall in love with the characters and become so involved in their stories. I love the crossover of the between The Whiskey Creek series and The Silver Springs series had no idea that its a six hour drive from each other I thought they be closer. I was so disappointed that Lucas wasn't Mack's son after all. I hope there be more crossover stories between the two. I gave it five starts because I love the story between Mack and Natasha, I was shocked by Dylan and Cheyenne story never saw that coming. Brenda has a way of always surprising you, she keeps you intrigued with suspense only when I read a Brenda Novak does it keep me up all night.

What a wonderful way to pull together two people who have always had feelings for each other, and two series that are fabulous on their own and now better for the intersection of their stories!

I'm a fan of Ms. Novak's writing style and the heart she puts in her books. I loved the Whiskey Creek series and also the Silver Springs series. With When I Found You, she has been able to bring these two series together, seemingly effortlessly.

There was also an issue with the paternity of one of the children in the Whiskey Creek series that always bothered me. Long ago I let the author know my concern about lies and deception. The resolution of that point was masterfully done.

Wonderful read. This book is a stand-alone, but why deprive yourself of the joy of reading both series! Get started today!!

When Natasha was a teenager her mother had married the Amos family and with it came 4 older sons, but one she just couldn't let go. TASH wanted to so badly to be his she did everything she could to him see her.
Mack was several years older and Tash was still a minor until she went off to college he thought letting her go was the right thing but several years later Mack woke up and smelled the coffee called feeling. The question is is too late and can Tash trust him again.

This is the story of another one of the Amos brothers. I liked the story of Dylan and Aaron best. The story of Rod wasn't too bad either.
I'm not so sure about this one. It just didn't have the same 'pageturner' effect as the others. Not that I didn't likke it. I rarely say no to a book written by Brenda Novak.
