The Dragon Assassin: League of Supernatural Assassins Kindle Edition
A genetically engineered dragon shifter created to be an assassin ...
...Treya knew nothing of soulmates.
She fought hard to emerge as one of the league's best—only the best survive. She may not have friends, but Treya had food in her belly, a roof over her head, and the assurance that the lives the League ended deserved it.
But did they really?
When Treya began to question her orders, the director gave her a brother—a hostage to keep her in line. It worked...for a while. But safety is an illusion, and Treya realizes she needs help to get her brother out, and soon.. Only, who can she trust?
After being alone for over a hundred years, Ash felt it the moment his realm was breached. By a female. He couldn’t see her but knew she was staking out his lair for nefarious reasons. Yet though his dragon was drawn to her, hungry and eager to claim this stranger as mate regardless of her intent, he was dying.
What could he possibly have to offer?
As enemies close in, choices need to be made. Can Ash and Treya both overcome their past in order to have a future?
Get it now, and soar through the realms on an adventure that will twist your heart and leave your breathless.

- Reviewed in the United States on October 27, 2020Wow! I was blown away from the get-go & did not want to put this must read down when I had to :o ... “The Dragon Assassin's Sunstryker” is probably my favorite book now by this author out of all her 6 star books I’ve ever read in the past ;) ... No-one weaves a story like Ms. Marean does, with a fresh, unique plot, always well-defined characters & clever dialogue, as well as unbelievable attention to detail with surprise twists & turns that will keep readers on the edge of their seats just like I was! ... I highly recommend this page-turner to all adult fans of fiction & now I can’t wait for more, but I will :D

- Reviewed in the United States on November 20, 2022"Dragon's Assassin " is a good introduction to the series. I enjoyed learning about the various planets. The characters are developed with just enough detail to make us care about them without info dumping or dragging. Good story. I'm looking forward to learning more about the assassins world.

Treya is a lab-created Dragon shifter. She and others like her are trained assassins. The compound where she grew up is called Icarus. These lab experiments grew up fighting for life and to be the best. Assassins are sent to missions to eliminate people. Treya begins to question if they deserve their ‘fate’.
Treya has no friends, she does however have family, a brother named Jacey. Jacey is the leverage for Treya to go on missions and stay at the compound. Jacey cannot shift and has a collar that prevent him from leaving.
Given a mission to eliminate a child Treya cannot bring herself to complete she has to find a place to hide the family. She reports that the mission is complete with detailed pictures. This sets in motion Treya’s decision to leave the compound with Jacey. There are some dragon shifters that help Trey and Jacey escape. They are on the run constantly.
Treya takes a job to make money they so desperately need. It is simple, steal some tech from a reclusive dragon. This starts Treya on a path of intrigue, desperation and perhaps love.
This is a very good book with many interesting characters. You are immediately taken in by the story and cannot put the book down. I want to know more about the creation of the dragon shifter assassins. Domorio/Darken Night is also intriguing. Jaden is another damaged dragon along with his siblings. This is a great start for a series!
- Reviewed in the United States on October 11, 2021A story of pain & suffering, of betrayal & yet fate has created one who will change that and balance the wrongs done. Stryker & Treya have leading roles in that change, they just need to find each other. Add to that the reuniting of other missing family and you have the basis of this book. Room is left for more stories as other members find their way out of darkness.

4.0 out of 5 stars Good books
First books are the best ones as the stories are rich in detail. Not so much in the later books. Overall good reads
