    I’m not even sure where to begin with this review… this is my first book by Felicity Brandon, but it won’t be my last. Simply stated, I LOVED this tale. While I’m familiar with the mafia genre through film, I’ve not read much of it, so this was a treat. A tumbling, turning, curiouser and curiouser manipulation of words.

    Chasing the White Rabbit is just one of many installments in the Bleeding Souls Saved by Love! collection of fable retellings, and Ms. Brandon nailed it. She balances a plausible storyline threaded with an undercurrent of BDSM, much to the pleasure of my kinky heart, with aptly placed Alice in Wonderland Easter eggs.

    A quick and easy read, both in brevity and page-swiping need, this book will pull you down the rabbit hole and take you into an underground world of titillating nuances between reality and fantasy. If you can deny the lure of the White Rabbit and the Mad Hatter, more power to you. I’d rather not resist, however, so I’ll be sat here grinning like the Cheshire Cat who got the cream.

    Chasing the White Rabbit is a prequel novella to a new mafia series of stand alones by Felicity Brandon, one of my absolute favorite authors in the realm of dark romance. I’m a big fan of mafia romance, and Ms. Brandon does not disappoint, ever. I’ve loved every book of hers that I’ve read.

    I like strong heroines. Gutsy, ballsy, brave and determined. It takes a special kind of dominant to have a relationship with these women. Submissive men would buckle under my girls; they would chew them up and spit them out. My ladies need a man more determined and stubborn than they themselves can be. And then the competition begins. Love it.

    This is the story of Alice, a member of England’s secret service and Oscar, the second in command of an organized crime organization called The Men of Honour. Alice goes under cover into the organization and the story unfolds from there. It’s a fun ride, that’s for sure. I’m really looking forward to the next book in the series. Highly recommended!

    As a prequel to a serie were you introduce new chatacters, it was good. But to combine it with the fairytale characters...it wasn’t my cup of tea.
    I’m looking forward to the new mafia serie, which hopefully wont continue in the fairytale area.

Meet the White Rabbit and the Mad Hatter and poor Alice MI5 agent with intent to infiltrate. Not going to plan as these men are much smarter than that. She's lying there bound and gagged on the cold hard ground. Read if you dare. You wont regret it if you are brave enough to try.

    This was a good book and an interesting read. I love Alice in wonderland and am looking forward to the rest of this series. This is a prequel novella to the series. Based on the name and the description of the book I was expecting the white rabbit to be the main character but he really wasn’t. It’s more about Alice and the mad hatter. Because of that I’m left a little confused about where this series is going but I’ll continue to read the series since I liked Alice and the mad hatters characters and relationship in this book. Alice is a government agent who is investigating the white rabbit. The mad hatter and the white rabbit are both a part of criminal underworld. Not to much is revealed about what they do yet. This novella is manly focused on Alice meeting both of the men and her “fall down the rabbit hole” as a result of that. If you don’t like Alice in wonderland or haven’t read it then some of the innuendos you might not fully understand but it’s modernized enough that you can still enjoy the book. Absolutely loved the ending and can’t wait for the next installment in the series!
