Jester finds true love in this timely tale, a lovely lesson for young readers that Love conquers all. A bedtime story that will promote sweet dreams in its readers and hearers. And Jester's such a handsome bun!

Four out of five stars because the author wisely avoids iambic pentameter, but the resulting scansion is rather too loose for my taste. And the copy is larded with run-in words, which could've been cured with a bit more attention to the galley proof. These things do matter, even in childrens' lit.
