    Oh this book is everything I never knew I needed from Striker! I loved getting to know him better and yet Jennifer kept to his gruff say little personality. In previous books you always had this feeling Sticker had a shell that could be cracked, and boy did Beth crack it! Years in the making, their relationship made a beautiful read. This book was angsty, full of positive feelings for getting Beth out of her sheltered life, and the passion between Beth and Striker was explosive when everyone's wall finally fell down. My Reward is definitely the book that is making sure Jennifer's Elite Series joins her Dimarco family series stay on my must reread list!

    I’ve been waiting for Beth and Striker’s book, and it was worth the wait. This book is best read if you’ve read the DiMarco series and the other books in the Elite Securities series. I liked the strong chemistry between Beth and Striker. I liked learning more about what Beth endured and watching her come out of her shell and gain more self confidence through the support of Striker and the DiMarco clan. We also learned so much more about Striker’s background and why he was skeptical of working with Mila, and why it was so hard for him to open up to Beth. Five stars for me; and now the wait begins for the next one.

    I was quickly hooked on the characters–the broody ultra-protective alpha male and the shy-but-learning-confidence delicate woman. But what I loved the most was how much they changed between the beginning of the story and its happy ending.

    Though the suspense elements weren’t always well plotted–a lot of back and forth, and they sometimes look amateur–it still kept me on the edge of my seat. There’s a sense of looming danger throughout the story that influences the characters’ behavior.

    There may have been too many for me to follow. They ended up blended together because most of them didn’t have enough time to become more than a stereotype. That wasn’t the case for Beth and Noah, who were well fleshed out and interesting. I seriously rooted for them right from the beginning. But the underlying theme of family–lack of, chosen one, discovering a new one–was a serious bonus. It was well done.

    The romance part wasn’t bad at all. The restraint from both, until they clearly lose control over their desires–I so enjoyed that. There weren’t a lot of sexy times, but they were hot enough to melt my eyes. I love simmering passion. They had a couple of cute scenes together, and a few more very emotional. Beth and Striker were a lovely couple.

    Loved Strikers story!! It was every bit as good as I hoped it would be! Beth was an interesting match that he needed. They were both troubled from past experiences and really did need each other although they didn’t see it. It was fun to watch and the rest of the guys were a treat to see.     I waited so long for this book and it has finally arrived.

    The story continues with the Elite Security family. And like all the books in this series I couldn't put it down.

    Beth and Striker are both quiet, hurt souls. They don't know how to behave around each other, but what they know is that there is a pull towards each other.

    A story of starting over, friendship, brotherhood, family and love.

    Jennifer Hanks knows how to write a good romantic suspense.

    I loved it.
