    Kate started her podcast to deal with her fiancée’s death and her feeling the police didn’t do their investigation thoroughly. She never expected to have her own life threatened or that working with the original detectives son would prove as adversarial as it became interesting. The walls people put up to protect themselves dissolve in a slow natural way as Kate and Mach discover they need to look at three crimes, in order to figure out one.

    First by this author, was good but not a lot of action. The heroine is using her podcast to investigate the disappearance of a young girl. The hero is upset that she is trying to reopen a case that his father closed before retiring. A lot of things are not adding up. Why? There are a lot of twist and turns. The store keep you guessing. Kudos to the author👏👏👏👏
