Then things go crazy, and her boss is shot and killed. Now, Hannah is running for her life, and Ayden needs to figure out how to help her and still keep his heart safe. With the action heating up, that will be very difficult for do.

    The pace is breakneck and the tone is uncertain yet hopeful with an action and character oriented storyline that has some kissing but no steam. The characters are vivid and engaging. The Christian values are woven into the story and don't seem to be forced.

    This is a good beginning to the Honor family series. Ayden is the oldest of the siblings, and decided to start a security business. He didn't know his first job would include protecting his ex girlfriend. There is a lot of pain between them, but the HEA is totally rewarding.

    This book captivated me from the very beginning. Hannah Kahn never imagined that she would ever see Ayden Honor again. It’s been 9 years since she broke his heart and said goodbye and now he’s been hired to protect her boss a press conference where he is announcing he is taking the company public. It’s a good thing he is there to because right when it’s Hannah’s turn to take the mic there is a bomb treat. Not only that, but her boss is killed and some shots were fired at her too. Ayden Honor is doing everything in his power to protect Hannah from danger. As the two set out on the run to try and figure out what they want with Hannah, they must also confront their feelings for each other.

    This is book 1 of the new series Honor Protection Specialists by Elizabeth Goddard. I loved it right away because it’s set in my part of the country. I live near Mt Rainier and get to see it’s majestic peak every day it’s sunny. I knew right away that I’d love that. It was fun watching the two discover that their feelings for each other had never went away. Hannah needs to come clean because she has a secret that she needs to tell Ayden. A secret that she knows is a dealbreaker for them. It was very suspenseful as they ran from the bad guys. I really loved Ayden. He is such an honorable guy just like his name suggests. I appreciate that they prayed before meals and that God wasn’t just a mention here or there. He really played a part in the story.

    Hannah was working for an amazing CEO, but he hired an bodyguard who her old boyfriend. She didn’t know what to do, so she tried to avoid being near him. That only worked until he saved her life after her boss was killed. The next few days were full of danger and she found out who the real killer was. Great read.
