In Book I, Limbo of The High Comedy, meet Dan Twersky, an embittered TSA agent at Newark International Airport, who was dealing drugs and living large when he made a fatal mistake that launched his strange journey into the Circles of Hell, a bleak world of shady characters and relentless challenges.
Hell has changed in the last 800 years, and it’s an exciting time down there as the Devil strives to modernize his domain. In the City of Dis, the netherworld's main metropolis, the Devil has built a 21st Century Colosseum to host the first live battlecade between Wrath and Violence, and Twersky finds himself on the planning committee for what is going to be the greatest show under the Earth.
The battlecade inspires another conflict inside Twersky’s very soul that questions his allegiance to the Devil.
In Book II, Modern Purgatory, Twersky finds himself on Mount Purgatory, home of the Seven Deadly Sins, where he must face his own defects and weaknesses. Greed, Sloth, Lust—what are his greatest downfalls? The heavenly soldiers put him to the test.
His goal is to reach the top of the mountain and the Garden of Eden, the last stop before the lift-off into Heaven where all Empyreans pledge to fight on the good side.
It’s an arduous climb, and even worse, he is hunted by a trickster bounty hunter from Hell.
In Book III, The New Empyrean, Twersky embarks on his trip to Heaven under the guidance of his recruiter and mentor Bea. After leaving Purgatory, they travel to the Heavenly Spheres where all goods and services are created for Earth. The first stop is the Moon and then all the planets of the Solar System where Empyreans are hard at work inventing the next best thing for humanity…and then the next best thing after that.
The Empyrean headquarters is the final destination, but traveling through Heaven is not easy as Twersky must keep his eye on the prize while fending off shattering memories of his time in the underworld, and Empyrean Soldiers who resent these migrants from Hell and have him in their crosshairs.
Each step forward demands of Twersky: Does he have what it takes to become a great Empyrean Soldier?
