Wow, another thrilling book by Bruce Hammack! This is the first I have read in this series, but it is as well written as other books of his I have read. There is so much excitement, mystery, intrigue, trying to keep an active detective calm while she is at the end of her pregnancy---yeah, that in itself is difficult.
I love the easy read style, the constant action, and a verbally clean story even with death and danger are involved. This story has a lot of twists and you can guess who did it, but then the plot changes.
I would gladly give a lot more stars in the rating if it were possible. Great writing!
