4.1 4.1 out of 5 stars 13 ratings

Cassie Sutherland can’t wait to see the look of surprise on each of her family member’s faces as they open the expensive store-bought gifts that she’s brought back to the Pennsylvania farm for Christmas.

Except her mother wasn’t joking when she said they were only to exchange
handmade items this year. Now Cassie has only one week to come up with new gifts for her family and she’s short on ideas.

Can Logan Whitaker, the new owner of the garden shop who leaves her breathless every time he gives her one of his big, endearing smiles, help Cassie discover God has an even bigger plan for her this holiday season?

This is a delightful story about family, faith and finding love at Christmas. Cassie is a well-developed character with a generous heart, but still, she yearns for approval. Through a series of funny and poignant events, she discovers that God and her family have loved her all along. The llamas and the handsome hero added to this heartwarming tale. This is the stuff that Hallmark movies are made of.

Another delightful story by Darlene Panzera! Cassie believes her prestigious tech job in the big city will make her family proud of her, until she comes home for Christmas to learn it’s not money or her status they’re interested in, but simply having her with them. Encouraged to use her natural talents, Cassie begins to resurrect old dreams and comes to realize that faith, togetherness, and giving matter most, and choosing the right man to share them with. A thoroughly satisfying tale that left me feeling cozy and warm with hope to last the whole year through!

Homespun Christmas is a sweet and cozy story that’s perfect for the Holidays. I especially loved the idea of homemade gifts and seeing how the characters came up with their different presents. The novella is a cute and easy-to-read tale that shines a beautiful light on the real hope of Christmas and God’s unconditional love.

Homespun Christmas hits the mark for uplifting Christmas romances with Christian values at its core. The characters are believable, and the small-town setting captures the essence of Christmas in a small town. I read the book in one sitting. If you like inspirational stories, you’ll love Homespun Christmas!
