Winnie-the-Pooh Kindle Edition
The original classic—starring Christopher Robin, his silly old bear, and a forest full of friends…
Prepare for fun with young Christopher Robin and his stuffed animal friends. There’s his teddy bear, Winnie-the-Pooh; the timid toy pig, Piglet; the gloomy donkey, Eeyore; and the toy kangaroos, Kanga and her son, Roo. There are live animals, as well: the scatterbrained Owl and the practical Rabbit.
Come along as they go on adventures, like Pooh using a balloon to get honey or Piglet meeting a Heffalump. Join the search for Eeyore’s missing tail or help celebrate his birthday. Find out what happens when Pooh visits Rabbit’s house or when Piglet is trapped by a flood. Whatever the occasion, you’ll enjoy the time you spend with Winnie-the-Pooh in the Hundred Acre Wood.- LanguageEnglish

A.A. Milne was born in London in 1882 and became a successful playwright and poet. He based Winnie-the-Pooh, Piglet and friends on the real nursery toys of his son Christopher Robin and published the first of their adventures in 1926. Since then, Pooh has become a world-famous bear, and Milne’s stories have been translated into sixty-two languages.

A bear is always looking for honey. He gets into some kind of a jam at a friend's house.
Later, he and another friend follow some tracks in the mud to see where they should lead. You begin to perceive the series of mini adventures to follow, including a tell-tale tall tale of a tail in the making, guiding them farther along the trail, taking them deeper into the forest. Thus, they must avoid any and all obstacles, snares, and traps that they may encounter on their fascinating journey. They proceed slowly with an abundance of caution and react accordingly, if not entirely unpredictably.
Further along the path, they find a new friend, who is feeling a bit down and out. He has a case of the doldrums for some reason. Nevertheless, everyone in the group tries their level best to cheer him up. They should all learn to get along well together, you reflect. Fortunately, they begin to play nicely in the sandbox. Only then can they continue to explore the matter before them, ultimately seeking to achieve their immediate main objective, that the more enlightened ones among us view as being a major goal in life.
Because of unforeseen circumstances, they are forced to band together once again; only this time, to form a search and rescue party.
Finally, they all go outside on the lawn and celebrate the wild flight of pure fantasy and unparalleled chicanery that they have just recently experienced. It's a party to which we are all invited and are sure to enjoy, or a reasonable facsimile thereof.
You know you've entered into the enchanted forest when it rains in buckets, and the sweet, bubbling, babbling brook suddenly roars to life like the mighty, mighty, M-I-S-S-I-S-S-I-P-P-I! Dare I say it out loud, or spell each letter individually, whisperingly, softly harmonizing, and picking a lively tune on an old acoustic guitar, similar to the folk melody from the 1950 Red Foley song bearing the same name as the river.
"Which are the creatures of the forest?" you inquire.
"The bear, a furry rabbit, a tiny pig, a donkey, an owl, a little boy, a kangaroo and its offspring."
"Winnie the Pooh" is the bear's name, the same as the title of the delightful children's book, written by Alan A. Milne, which was originally published in 1926, and illustrated by Ernest H. Shepard. The boy and the bear become inseparable companions, at least in my mind. They are as well-suited for each other as the author's prose and the illustrator's drawings.
Imagine what they could have accomplished, had the author and illustrator been born a hundred years later, with unlimited access to high-speed computers, the internet, 3D goggles, an IMAX theater, and a full orchestra ensemble!

I adore The Winne the Pooh series. My first set was the paperback edition with water color like illustrations before surgery when I was four with my own Pooh, Eeyore, and Tigger. It helped my wait and recovery time. They accompanied me through many other surgeries. So this why these stories mean comfort to me even today.
I had not read a Pooh Story on kindle yet so when it was recommended it was downloaded immediately.
This version has black and white sketch illustrations similar to my scholastic book paperbacks (similar to the cover) for those who want to know the kind of artwork inside. This book does have auditable but I never use this feature. I prefer to do my own reading.
To me the stories are all sweet tales of good friendships that are heartwarming for all ages. Would highly recommend to others.

I couldn't find any faults with it, and in some ways, reminded me of the simplicity of some of my early existence.
It would be good for modern youngsters to be entertained by such stories, before their attention is hijacked by computer games and mobile phones 📵 😉❤👍💯%!
