Fraser: A Navy Seal and a female bodyguard hunt for a princess on the run!/A Minnesota Marshalls novel (1) (The Marshall Family Saga Book 9) Kindle Edition
Fraser Marshall is pretty sure his career as a Spec Ops fighter is over. Yes, he’s gone into private security, working for Jones, Inc, but his last gig ended with him wounded and taken captive. And those wounds just won’t heal. The last thing he wants to do is stick around his family’s winery pressing grapes. But what choices does he have?
The answer comes via a panicked phone call from his kid brother, Creed.
Help, Fraser. I’m in over my head…
Yeah he is, because he’s run away with a princess, with her bodyguard hot on the trail. And said bodyguard, Pippa Butler is going to hunt them down, no matter the cost.
Even if she has to join forces with a bossy, arrogant former American SEAL. But Pippa has her own set of lethal skills, and if Fraser gets in the way, she’ll leave him on the side of the road. Still, maybe he’s not a terrible side-kick. He is handsome, and he makes her laugh…
No, no, bad Pippa! She has no room for a man—an American—in her life. And Fraser hasn’t ever considered slowing down. Even if Pippa has him wondering if there is a different future ahead.
But there’s more to the story than a Romeo-and-Juliet runaway romance. Princess Imani has seen a murder, and the perpetrator isn’t going to let her get away. Will Fraser and Pippa find the couple first?
And if they do, can they work together to keep them safe?
It’ll be tough if their hearts get in the way…

About the author
Although I attended the U of Minnesota, I’m a woodsy girl at heart. Or maybe I’m an adventurer—having lived and traveled all over the world, including Siberia, Russia as a missionary for eight years. That’s why my characters seem to get into one scrape after another—they’re too much like me! I love God, my family, my country, my church, and feel privileged every day to be able to write stories.
And my 'official' bio:

I thought it was comical how Fraser was “stuck” at the winery, a place I just couldn’t see a character like him at. But ya know, sometimes we all need to be in that spot. A spot that is uncomfortable and gives us the time to think, dwell, and hopefully grow. But when he got that call from Creed - oh I was ready for the action!
There was also some fun twists and turns that I didn’t see coming. I thought I had the whodunnit all figured out and oh how wrong I was. I like to be wrong about that because it meant the author did a great job of putting the clues together in a sneaky way to make me think I was hot on the trail, even though I wasn’t lol.
Somehow Warren always manages to have the perfect blend of action, suspense, romance, kisses, swoony moments, and faith. It always keeps me coming back for more! I highly recommend this new series.
Frasier mostly healed from some injuries he had sustained in an earlier op but his mind still was struggling. When he received a frantic call from his adopted brother, Creed, who was in Europe, he knew he had to step it up and come to his rescue. In the process, he ended being rescued himself. And, he could finally experience healing, body and soul, for himself.
Pippa also had scars, not ones that could be seen but they were there just the same. Frasier just might be the one to help her see where the wounds still existed and find a way to help her heal.
There were so many wonderful characters in this book and a setup for the next one in the series, which I cannot wait to get my hands on.

Firstly I loved how this story picks up threads from both RJ & Yorks book series as well as the Sky King Ranch trilogy! I definitely felt there were some loose threads from those books so I’m excited to see these wrapped up.
The fictional European Lauchtenland - think Genovia from The Princess diaries - was great!
Loved Pippa - she was really competent and could hold her own. Pippa and Fraser had great chemistry from the outset and worked together so well it was easy to see their relationship build.
This book had it all - exciting action, edge of your seat suspense, gorgeous vineyards, interesting European locations, faith, family reconnection and some great banter (looking at you Marvel nicknames!)
I would really recommend this book as it has a great story however I think you might find there are a few too many side characters/subplots if you haven’t read any of Warrens other series (The Montana Marshall’s, RJ & York’s trilogy and Sky King Ranch)
Thank you again
