Love this saga- I will read every one. Follow the Piper and Castle family through WWll with all the struggles of the English citizens. You won't want to put this one down.

Yes was a great Book really Enjoyed it from Beggining

Didn't realise this was part of a series when started reading. A few mistakes and it did repeat itself a few times but I did still enjoy it. Not sure if I will read the rest.

Another brilliant book in the saga of a small village in South Wales during the second world war. Their lives are entwined both in happiness and the sadness of losses of loved ones serving abroad. The story is another twist in all their lives and not to be missed. There are further books in the saga which I am now starting

Love the way this lady writes X straight from the heart X the only thing that is annoying is that every so often the story lines get repeated as if there is a need to fill a gap X but I still love all her books X ty
