This was such a great volume!

This was such a great volume!
3.5 starsWOW! I am SUPER impressed! This was such a great volume! It's unfortunate this is the last volume of the series printed in English because I would have loved to see what happens in the next two volumes. This volume was very solid and gave a clear and solid storyline that was not only engaging, but interesting. Delia was/is a fantastic coach and I was very fascinated by her backstory. It's obvious she cares for these students and hope that in the end, they were successful. The art continued to get better and better! The panels felt and looked cleaner to me and overall enjoyed the art a lot more.I think the only character I wasn't fond of is the girl who keeps talking to Leon. I'm not sure if she genuinely likes him or is just genuinely wants to help with his "relationship" concerning Anya. There were some good quotes in here about not judging people by appearances and how there is more to what we see. Seeing that glimpse into Delia and a certain character was really powerful! While last volume I was bummed that I felt the story didn't flow and such, I'm bummed this is it for this series. I feel it was a strong third volume and very unfortunate I won't know what happens next. Them coming together as a team was fantastic!

Had book 1. Finally decided I needed 2 and 3

My daughter, who is 15 and loves all things soccer, begged me for this series of books. I gave in, and I'm very happy I did so! They're fun, clean, and sports-oriented for girls without making a big deal out of that fact. Highly recommended, along with the "Angel Cup" manga series.

I urge you to read this story. It's uplifting and charming. However order it from another seller. Both of the books I've ordered arrived in bad condition. The first one was torn and this one was heavily discolored along the edge of the pages. I wouldn't mind if that was how it had been advertised. But I chose a copy that was described as good condition.
