Sie verbirgt offensichtlich einige Geheimnisse, und Kade ist entschlossen, diese zu lüften, bevor die wilde Begierde seines Drachen sie beide bei lebendigem Leib verbrennt.

Als Kade mit der örtlichen Polizei in Konflikt gerät, kann nur Aurora ihn retten. Die Geschichte ist mitnehmend. Allerdings muss man den Anfang, die Ankunft aus Band 1, im Kopf haben, sonst wird man recht unvorbereitet in die Story geworfen und es fehlen Verbindungen und Informationen. Ansonsten ist die Story weitgehend unabhängig von Band 1. Auch hier gefällt mir, dass nicht immer ein Schlag-drauf als Finale existiert, sondern ein überlegter Ausklang. Einige Dinge, wie z.B. die Hausstürmung durch die Waschbär-Affen im Ort, sind zu überzogen. Man kann darüber schmunzeln, doch es wirkt nur unglaubwürdig.
Weniger gefallen hat mir allerdings die Stadtbeschreibung, die kaum zu Band 1 passt, u.a. wegen dem korrupten Scheriff und seiner Bande, weil z.B. die dort nicht auftreten. Insofern beschreiben beide Bände fast unterschiedliche Orte, obwohl es derselbe sein soll. Auch widersprechen sich etliche Aussagen in den Bänden. Z.B. muss Kade bis zur Volljährigkeit bleiben, während Noxx gleich abreisen soll. Und auch 10% Werbung am Ende sind etwas, was mir nicht gefällt.
