JUST ONE DANCE is a standalone read with a happy ending. There are no sexy scenes so any age can read and enjoy. It is part of a series and if this is your first read you will not be lost. The setting is one of the largest ranches in south Texas. The family is a big one and one of the richest families in America. It is run by the grandfather with all adult grandchildren. This story is about Eve, the only girl in a family of brothers.

Eve is the youngest but by no means the weakest. She is as smart as her brothers and tougher than some. She is a chemist and works with creating perfumes. She is quite successful at her profession. It is her love life that is suffering. Her brothers are finding love, and she wants the same for herself. With her wealth it is hard to find someone that wants her and not her money.

Jared is their neighbor rancher that adjoins their property. They have lived next to each other for years but were not close friends even though the families were friendly. It took the attendance at a charity event for Eve to see him as he is today. Besides being gorgeous, he has a sexy voice. When he said, "Dance with Me", I fell in love and so did Eve.

This is a great love story with a bit of drama. It is a great addition to this series. I definitely recommend it and all the books in this series.

Just One Dance by Chris Keniston is the third book in a new series called Billionaire Barons of Texas. The premise of all the books follows a family who have money, power and influence. This novel focuses on Eve Baron.

Eve is someone who works with charities and people. At a gala she meets the neighbor Jared Gold and sparks fly. Both work with charities, but Eve doesn’t just write a check, Jared does. The two seem pretty incompatible in their giving, until they are not. Jared’s playboy past is a bit of a sticky point as well.

I love how Chris Keniston does not stick with ordinary characters and her storylines are interesting. Granted you know they are going to end well, but that is what makes the story fun! I really enjoy her novels! Just One Dance is a fun read.

Spying a tall, handsome, gentleman talking with her grandmother she wondered how big a check he would contribute, when her grandmother was finally finished with him. Handsome gents spelled big trouble in her book, but usually had open checkbooks when charity called. Trying to inconspicuously eat a caviar hoer ’derive became a lost cause when she was startled by said tall dark and handsome! Not the best of introductions. Distraught, mumbling, she whisked away to cleanup. Meeting him on coming back to the table were seated her grandmother and his mother talking, “You’re Jared Gold?”, She asked as she sat down. “Guillty as charged” was his reply. After dinner, the music started. “Dance with me”, Eve merely followed. Jared soon made her realize, this man could really cut a rug! Talking while dancing they discovered they were more alike than they ever knew, he grew up with her brothers, their families were ranchers’, and both had matchmakers for relatives!
Time moves on, ranches need to be looked after and life continues. Eve and Jared have mutual admiration. Their families and life, both help and hinder their growing attraction. To see what happens you have to get a copy of Just One Dance, you will not regret it!

I love to spend time in the warm, beautiful worlds that Chris Keniston builds. Her newest series, The Billionaire Barons of Texas, brings all the warm, humor, and heart that she is known for. Just one Dance, the 3rd book in the series, has all those characteristics and offers the reader a chance to savor the best of what is good about people in a time that we need reason to smile.
The attitude that I love from the Baron's is wonderfully expressed when Jared and Eve are waiting with fingers crossed for the Governor, her grandfather who retired after 20 years as governor of Texas, to pull the strings needed for them to help a young man. It dawns on Eve that the reason she dedicates so much time to charity work is that most people do not have a grandfather who help them work through or around the system, so that is what she does for them.
The quickly growing romance between rancher Jared Gold and chemical engineer Eve Baron is lovely to watch as is Jared's growing involvement in reaching out to help others. He has always helped with money but now he is present in his efforts.
