Editorial Reviews

Review

“I became aware of Kim Colegrove’s work with Pause First Academy and have read her books, which have saved lives of warriors who, as stoics do, tried to tough it out on their own until they felt there was nowhere to turn. Thank goodness they found Kim’s book, The Mindfulness For Warriors Handbook. My great hope is that even more find Wellness Warrior Style, which offers profoundly helpful practices and empowering stories of warriors who faced their trauma and reclaimed their mental wellness and their lives in the process. I could not be more proud of Kim and how she gives back to those who give so much.”

Once again, the author hits it out of the park. Powerful stories that give us all hope. You will be a different person when you read this book.

After reading and enjoying Kim Colegrove’s first book, Mindfulness for Warriors, I purchased this book, and enjoyed it as well. As a 911 dispatcher, I have been exposed to mental health issues among some of my colleagues who serve as first responders, and I believe that learning about these issues is instrumental toward dealing with them. The book provides an excellent resource for helping people in the warrior profession to preserve their mental wellbeing, and encourages the reader to seek help whenever the stressors get to be too much to handle by oneself. Highly recommended!
