The Irish Knowing: A Raven Hill Farm Mystery (Raven Hill Farm Mysteries Book 6) Kindle Edition

4.5 out of 5 stars 602 ratings

Quinn finds herself in an embarrassing situation when an old high school classmate who now lives in Ireland contacts her about their twenty-fifth high school reunion. Unfortunately, Quinn has gilded the lily as to her and her best friend, Fiona’s, accomplishments. Now, she will have to come clean. To make matters worse, Adler James, or Addie as she likes to be called, was one of the popular girls in high school.

Soon after their meeting, Addie is accused of murder. Quinn believes she’s innocent and decides to do some investigating with the help of her cousin Charlotte. Quinn quickly realizes that nothing is as it seems. Darker forces are at work here. Ancient relics that Quinn is strangely tied to were stolen by the victim and may have been the reason he was murdered. Now it’s up to Quinn and Charlotte to figure out who murdered Hugo Diaz and why 5,000-year-old relics have a mysterious connection to Quinn and Charlotte and The Knowing.

"The Irish Knowing" is an absolute gem of a novel, and I couldn't put it down! Drew continues to excel at her world-building and character development, and I remain hooked not only by Quinn's journeys but also by the fascinating cast of characters Drew has established over these six titles.

Drew's mastery at weaving tales that keep you guessing at every turn is truly at its best in Knowing. The characters, especially Quinn and her cousin Charlotte, are well-developed and relatable, making it easy to become deeply invested in their quest to uncover the truth. The inclusion of ancient relics and the mysterious connection to Quinn and Charlotte's "Knowing" adds a unique and intriguing layer to the story.

I've loved watching Quinn and this world grow and develop into what it is today, and I can't wait to see where Drew takes things next! Like all her titles, this is full of suspense, unexpected twists, and cleverly concealed clues that had me eagerly flipping pages. Drew's writing style is engaging and brings the beautiful Irish setting to life, making me feel like I was right there with the characters. I highly recommend this read, and I can't wait to see what Drew has in store next!

P.S. Another reviewer was confused by some elements, but these were explained in earlier titles. While I believe this 6th title is accessible for new readers, it's natural to miss some backstory from previous books. For instance, the reviewer was puzzled by a certain stone, which was a gift from her grandmother in an earlier book. Also, Hattie moved into Bruno Tricot's house previously. Remember to read the previous books in the series, even if you begin with the 6th one, as there's a world of character backstories to explore!

So I’m reading this book now, in the last book, all of a sudden Quinn has a tanzanite stone around her neck like her grandmother, when did she get that? She always just had a stone in her pocket. Now charlotte lives on the farm. last book she was living in town and now she lives in Hattie’s cottage, but no mention where Hattie has gone. Very confusing, did I miss a book? Or chapter? Hope someone can give me some answers

“Your good friend, Dermot, has been teaching me jujitsu …, unfortunately for you two.”

Had my interest from the beginning and continued to develop the characters from the series

I have read several books in this series and enjoyed all of them. The best way to read them is early ones first, but they are still enjoyable if you start a little way into the series.
