- Reviewed in the United States on February 1, 2024Marketing for Entrepreneurs is a book that everyone who has to promote themselves or their work in any kind of way desperately needs. As an author and also someone who supports other creative people in their work, the activities in the book are hands-down some of the easiest and most approachable teachings I've found to get people who don't typically think of themselves as entrepreneurs but are required very much to behave like them (I'm looking at you writers, filmmakers, artists, photographers, performers, etc.) get going in the right direction to promoting their work and building audience. The book is meant to be an easy and quick guide to approaching effective marketing - no slogging through a bunch of pages, Beverly Cornell definitely knows that entrepreneurs (and us creative people) have precious spare time.
