What makes appliqué such a fun quilting technique is the ability to create dynamic shapes like floral designs by stitching a shape directly onto the quilt top. About the author

After falling in love with a sampler quilt pattern in the late 1990’s, Kim impulsively purchased it, taught herself the steps needed to make the project, and realized she was completely smitten with quiltmaking. Winning a national contest with only the third quilt she'd ever made turned Kim's life down an unexpected path, and her new-found hobby quickly blossomed into a full-time career.
Kim's favorite quilt designs combine traditionally inspired patchwork and applique, and she loves stitching her projects from richly hued prints using modern time-saving techniques. In addition to being a prolific quiltmaker and authoring her on-going Simple series of books with Martingale, Kim designs quilting fabric collections and Simple Whatnots Club projects in her signature scrappy style for Henry Glass & Co.
Since retiring from an extensive travel and teaching schedule in 2015, Kim enjoys spending her days at home once again and doing what she loves most - designing quilts and fabrics, baking, stitching, gardening, and being a nana to her grandbabies.

Je suis déçue. Avoir attendue presque 6 mois pour recevoir un recueil de quelques pages de la taille d’un porte cartes (12 cm). Bof
