Entangled with a Mountain Man: A BWWM Nanny Romance Kindle Edition

4.4 out of 5 stars 694 ratings

Kenzie

I followed my heart to Silver Ridge and it betrayed me. Now I’m stuck in a small mountain town with wagging fingers labeling me a homewrecker.

I endure because I don’t have enough money to get me off this mountain until I land a sweet gig. I’m counting down the hours until I watch Everett with his twins.

The man is sexy as sin, a grouch, and his amazing smiles are shared with everyone but me. And I think he's one more person who loathes me until he kisses me silly smack-dab in the diner.

Everett

I hate bullies. People sitting on their high horses when we’ve all made a bad decision or two. Look at me, I picked the wrong woman and after kissing Kenzie looks like life’s repeating itself.

I had a choice shut up the hecklers or make my move. I just didn’t expect her lips to taste like heaven and her curves to feel like perfection.

But I’m too smart to fall twice until I see Kenzie playing with frogs, in the mud with my girls. The dark clouds hovering over my heart part and a single word hangs between us: mine.

Silver Ridge Mountain Men is a series of six standalone romances written by besties Olivia Reign, Blaire Wilde, Emma Blake, Lisa Ryan, Raven Blaire, and Josie Hart. Get ready, cuffing season starts…now.

Love the story line and all the characters. Kept me engaged until the end. Somethings I wish the author would have dug deeper into like more on what happened in the end with Paige and Ian and who he was hinting at having an affair with was it on of Paige’s friends? But over all it was a great book.

Loved it, I know I will be reading this again & again. Town gossip can be in the big city as well as small town. This made me think of a place in Michigan, it was a little bit bigger than Silver Ridge. But still like Silver Ridge, everybody knew everybody’s business, someone got arrested, or someone acted loose, even if someone was caught stealing, everybody knew. Boy did I hate that, wanted something better like Kenzie. Happy to see Kenzie finally happy with Everett, love the chemistry as well. That is one take charge man.

This started off good for me but as I kept reading it was like there were parts/sentences that were repeated or saying the same thing but worded differently. Also I feel like the build up to the incident with Kenzie fell short because nothing that happened was explained. Like why were there shots, what happened to Ian and Paige?, and did they go to jail for what they did? Also, the events didn’t match up or make sense. No follow up to Everett getting mad about Ian and nothing else was said about Kenzie brother. I feel like the end was rushed. Overall it was an ok book but would’ve been better if things weren’t left hanging.

At first, I expected this tale to be the typical handsome mountain man, helpless female scenario that I've enjoyed over the years. Some were pretty routine and you can almost recite how the relationship will step through to your desired happy ending. Every so often you run across an exception. This was one, for me, at least. Well written, intriguing, mystifying, and imaginative. This story kept me coming back again and again. I will be reading more from this author and series. Enjoy!

This was a wonderful love story with a very rough start for Kenzie. She came to met her penal and finds out he is a two timing jerk and the towns people think she is a home wrecker and that’s the same time she sees Everett for the first time

This is a beautiful ❤filled with angst drama & 🔥🔥🔥.Everett is a 💯 brooding alpha, awesome, loving single dad with the cutest twin girls. He is perfectly matched with sweet Kenzie 😍 So glad they found their HEA after all the drama and they're building a family 🙌 . I only wish there was was an epilogue

Quite a story. Deception and misunderstanding right from the start leads to a very interesting story. Add in a healthy dose of jealousy and you get lots of intrigue. Thankfully it all worked out and they got their HEA

3.0 out of 5 stars Good, but needs a lot of editing.

This had the potential to be a really good book, but it needs some serious editing. There were so many errors it kept pulling me out of the story. I’ve given it a three because I did enjoy the characters, and the basics of the storyline, it just really does need editing. There were so many glitches, time inconsistencies, people knowing things, then not knowing things and being surprised, that it honestly drove me crazy.

Promising start but after the first five chapters the book just became very repetitive and drawn out. Kenzie was very good with the girls, I liked how she bonded with them and a few nice people in town. My issue was with Everett. He was such a coldhearted man for someone that had kids and I know it’s a romance book, but he seemed to care more about Kenzie than he did his kids at time.

I was annoyed reading some bits with Kenzie because she was just so dumb, like how are you telling someone that lied to you at the start that you were pregnant before telling Everette? What do you think was honestly going to happen? The more I read the book the more aggravated I became, sooo for my peace of mind I skipped to the end and chileeee it was the best thing I could possibly do.

The story was just too rushed and in between you could kinda differentiate that time had lapsed but in basically 6 months soo much happened. Through it all I don’t feel like there was much of a bond between Kenzie and Everett because they kept hiding parts of themselves and behind fear, only bonded when it was whomping time. I could keep going but if you like small town romance it’s an easy-ish read.

I honestly don't know if the writer of this book actually had it proof read as I highlighted so many mistakes. Didn't even get to the end, because it was so hard to read. Got frustrated with the mistakes. Would not recommended to anyone else.
