The Firmament: According to the Bible Kindle Edition
ACCORDING TO THE BIBLE
An exhaustive look into what the scriptures
say about the creation we live in
By Chad Dunagin
Recently, I have noticed lots of discussion about the nature and structure of a “firmament” above the earth.
It seems it is all over social media how the term is in the Bible and it’s scripturally accurate for there to be a firmament. Others are saying there is no firmament, that it is all a hoax, mere nonsense, or conspiracy theory. Or, if the term "firmament" is in the bible, it doesn't mean what people are saying that it means. So then... what does it mean?
All these posts and discussions have led me to wonder what is actually in the Bible concerning this subject of a firmament above the earth. Transparently I have read the entire Bible from cover to cover, and many different passages and books multiple times over the years. But I have never paid any attention to this actual word, or any suggestion of, a “firmament”.
Unable to ignore all of the buzz and controversy, I decided to take the time, pick up the Bible for myself, and do the research. The result, this book, is my findings.
I approached this research with no preconceived ideas or notions. I have done my best to document exactly what the bible teaches and to let it speak for itself.
I hope you enjoy, and after reading, have a new sense of the reality of God's creation and what exactly is "The Firmament".
