Jo Fenton grew up in Hertfordshire, UK. She devoured books from an early age, particularly enjoying adventure books, school stories and fantasy. She wanted to be a scientist from aged six after being given a wonderful book titled “Science Can Be Fun”. At eleven, she discovered Agatha Christie and Georgette Heyer, and now has an eclectic and much loved book collection cluttering her home office.

Jo combines an exciting career in Clinical Research with an equally exciting but very different career as a writer of psychological thrillers.

When not working, she runs (very slowly), and chats to lots of people. She lives in Manchester with her husband, two sons, a Corgi and a tankful of tropical fish. She is an active and enthusiastic member of two writing groups and a reading group.

    There’s a lot going on in this book. They start out investigating the theft of a Faberge egg. Soon they’re mixed up in so much more.
    It took me a bit to figure out who was who in the beginning. I see it’s part of a series which I had not read previously so I guess that added to my confusion.
    It’s a good mystery that got better as the book went on.

    I was lucky enough to receive an advance copy of this book to read before the publication date and recently finished the fantastic new addition to the Becky White series. Just as with all of the previous books, this story is packed full of twists, turns, and fast paced mystery. Each chapter is perfectly paced in offering slightly more of the picture whilst always leaving you wanting more.
    Jo fentons books are fantastic at offering likeable and real characters that fit perfectly inside a modern day mystery, resulting in another book that is impossible to put down!
