Songs of the Abyss: A Collection of Thrilling and Terrifying Tales Kindle Edition
In the void of space, alien creatures puppet dead flesh through darkened corridors. A simple date becomes a dance with a shapeshifting horror, while shadow creatures stalk forgotten towns. And in quiet suburban homes, doors to nightmare realms appear in ordinary basements.
Each story pulls you beyond traditional terror into spaces where human understanding fails and cosmic dread reigns supreme.
Some songs weren't meant for human ears… but once heard, they can never be forgotten.

- Reviewed in the United States on May 2, 2022This is a collection of short stories. By far, the final story, “The Last Cosmonaut”, is the best. It is entirely worthwhile to read just this story in the book, if no other is to be read. I was rather sad to see the end of the book.
- Reviewed in the United States on June 4, 2021This book has 10 short stories, and I liked most of them. The author is really good at weaving stories, so this book was hard to put down when I had to do other things.
A lot of the stories have a twist and kind of remind me of the old Alfred Hitchcock stories, so edge of your seat kind of thing.
- Reviewed in the United States on August 11, 2021I really felt that each story started off with an intriguing setting or situation, only to come to, in most cases, an ending that made me feel that the author could have taken its conclusion(s) to a more imaginative end. It reminded me of some of the TV adaptations of sci-fi stories from Twilight Zone.

This is a great collection of stories that I highly recommend. Each story offers something a little different both in style and substance and Bradshaw's imagination takes readers to unique places each time.

4.0 out of 5 stars Good but grim
Very well written stories with well rounded believable characters some are a bit on the grim and depressing side but well worth reading
