I have read almost all, if not all, of JoAnn Durgin's books. Every book--every series of books--have been excellent. Her characters are always ones that you fall in love with - or at least - want to bring home with you and her details and descriptions place you right in the midst of the books. You may find the encouragement you need or your faith may be increased through the scriptures she shares in her books, and when you finish the book, you are ready for the next installment.

Ms. Durgin's latest book Love So Divine is all of the above and more. Quite frankly, it is in a class all by itself. The story line involves two people, Heather and Chase, who could not be more different if they tried. They come from different backgrounds, their "upbringing" had no similarities at all, and their careers are as different as night and day. They determine not to give into the attraction they feel for one another, but God has other plans for them.

This is another beautiful love story written by Ms. Durgin, but what makes it stand out is the amount of scriptures used and the overall evangelical message throughout the book. Ms. Durgin presents the message effortlessly as her hero, Chase, is a youth pastor and lovingly shares the gospel with the youth under his ministry, and with Heather as well.

Not only did Ms. Durgin present the evangelical message in Love So Divine, she also encouraged readers with hope, a reminder of mercy and grace and the message of faith. When I finished reading the book, I was ready for the next installment.

This is one book you must read. So, the next Sunday afternoon when Spring has disappeared again, grab your favorite afghan, a cup of tea and sit down and read Love So Divine. It will change your life!

Divinely written! This is a sweet love story between Heather and Chase, who meet as best man and maid of honor at their friends' wedding. Heather and Chase come from drastically different backgrounds and upbringings. Chase, being a youth pastor, has a deep rooted faith. Heather is a newer believer. To see how these two characters' faith and love for each other grow in Christ is a blessing. A great example of how God can use us and develop our relationships despite our pasts. Once we are believers in Christ, God only sees us as His children and not how we were in our sinful past. God loves each of us with a 'Love So Divine".
This is book 2 of the Wondrous Love Series, but it does well as a stand-alone book. If you haven't yet read 'Love so Amazing' (book 1) this may have you going back to read Ana & Sawyer's love story. JoAnn Durgin's books never disappoint, she is a fabulous writer and her characters are so well developed. With each book of her's I read, my 'family' gets a little bigger! :) You will also be blessed by this and all of JoAnn Durgin's books.

Yet another wonderful book by JoAnn Durgin! The only thing I didn't like was when I got to the end and saw the ad that says I have to wait 7 months (October) for the next one! BUT, in the meantime I get to read what's next in the other series' that she writes, so it's a win win for me!!!! I have yet to read anything that I didn't enjoy in any of her series'. Not only are the stories sweet and romantic, they truly make you think about things on multiple levels within your own life and actually speak to you as you find yourself comparing things you read in the books to your own life's spiritual journey. She is not only an author, she's a gardener......she plants seeds in your heart/mind. Don't laugh, it's true! You will laugh, you will cry, you will find yourself wanting to be a better person, and a better Christian all in one fell swoop! Can't wait to see what's next!

Having read the previous book in the series, it was nice to meet Ava and Sawyer again even if only in the background, but the books are sufficiently distinct that this could definitely be enjoyed without having read the other. It was also enjoyable to watch the two overcoming the obstacles not only to love, but also to healing in other areas of their lives. Great book, clean and well written.

JoAnn Durgin is one of my favorite authors, so when I saw that she had a new book out, I simply had to purchase it. I’m so glad I did! Love So Divine challenged my faith and touched my heart as it brought smiles and a few tears.
Chase Landers is a hero is the best sense of the word, a man who takes his faith seriously and isn’t afraid to face danger for the sake of “his” teens. Heather Montague is courageous, too, and I loved her lack of pretension in spite—or perhaps because—of her upbringing.
Ms. Durgin has crafted a wonderful love story, one of many, but this one may be my favorite. Highly recommended, Love So Divine earns five stars.
